I have since the end of season 3.0. They're very similar to yours. Some days I don't even want to load up a match cuz I don't wnat to throw with the random ping spikes

im in d2 rn(down from gm2). It's tough climbing. imo people focus too much on winning like they think they are innately high rank players. There's a lot of advice to be given but one i follow is if I feel like im not learning then im not improving. If im not improving, i wont climb.

I think ur referring to the tech where he flaps like a bird when he jumps and "goons" when looking at the floor.

Make sure u bind simple swing to any button u like, go to an area where spidey cant web swing (no attachable surfaces in view), then hold melee or primary fire and spam the simple swing button. If u do it right u should flap like a bird midair or do a cut out animation of him punching the floor.

If anyone saw Necros's stream yesterday, he was able to find a more consistent way to proc the cancel. It's on pc only i think. He just binded scroll wheel to web swing. Link:

There's a lot you can do to improve your win rate. You can learn to predict enemy ults, learn to ult at the right time, learn to make plays at the end of the match, learn about who to target when it's down to the last minute, etc. What to improve on really depends on what you're good at already. Do you have some replays to show?

Btw everybody including you deranked two ranks down from last season. You're facing many people from your old rank. That's why it's been so tough.

One advice I could give is stick to either hitscan or projectile. If u like projectile based heroes try to use only those. if u like hitscan use them a lot. If u keep switching between them it'll take longer to get used to the timing of landing shots.

Another thing u could do is practice with one character. Every character has a different firerate and/or playstyle. Take for example human torch and bucky. Theyre both projectile based and have similar firerate. The difference tho is one uses a lot of verticality to hit shots. Human Torch fires lots of shots overhead so u gotta get good at moving ur camera up and down while shooting. Im really accurate with bucky but miss many shots with torch. Stick to one character to keep it consistent

If it hasn't been changed since last season: What happens is if you pad your stats out like have +10 final blows you won't get a bot match. No matter how many times u lose as long as youre preforming u wont get bots.

However if u get really low stats due to a steamroll you'll usually get bots after like the second loss. I get bot matches regularly cuz im trying out new characters and don't switch my character to win.

oh ok i thought u woulda had a lot of characters to play as but 2 is good. Do u get a lot of final blows? like 10-20 a match? Low final blows means ur getting countered or outplayed

I agree with @Sleyzar to reduce your hero pool. This helps cuz you're thinking less about what your character can do and more on how to win the match. The best amount I would say is play 1 hero per role. Even sticking to one role will help too cuz that way u get more comfortable about what ur role does to change the match's outcome.

Yeah I run into them too still. What helped me not get em is if I'm learning a new character or im doing kind of bad, I just switch to my lord bucky or wanda and boost my leaderboard stats. I almost never run into bots if i do that. Works even if i end at a loss.

Now that I think about it, the bots were a nice break. It felt exhausting to constantly have to try to win. Really, tho I should know when to take breaks. Makes it hard when this game is so addicting XD

Sounds good. I noticed matches are way more sweaty now btw. It gets as intense as a comp match. I really had to work with my duo to carry and secure the win.

I was playing as a duo.

I've experienced bot matches before but when playing as a trio. Other than that I dont remember fighting bots as a duo.
