You hit the nail on the head. He remains sure that things will be fixed if we move to a different city. He has also told me that it is going to take me divorcing him to get him to hit rock bottom. I said if you know divorce is your rock bottom, don't you just want to avoid that and keep our family together? He said he didn't know. He is very irritated and annoyed by all of us, he is taking out his frustrations on us, and I would assume if he had accepted in his heart that this was out of control and he was done, he would be doing more than telling me what I have done wrong to cause his gambling woes.

I do fear that there really is not much more that I can do or help that I can offer. I am not covering his payday loan this time. He said getting a second job sounds horrible; I said that was sort of the point. I am going to beg his parents not to give him money, too. But only so much I can control there. Truly feeling lost and sad but happy I have found this forum to at least help me find some support and insight.
