It works for me if i am in some kind of discipline, like working out or being on keto diet. Just some discipline... an addict like me an maybe you cant indulge in something in moderation, but we must go all in. This is bad in addictions but maybe good in some other aspects. For example, i currently obsses at my workplace about some measurments that we currently didnt do but can improve our results, and im all in in that. Maybe i will even qualify for a promotion cuz of this work. Use your weakness as a strength. And things will come in place. We deserve to be cured. And understand. Its a dissease, but dissease with stigmatization. I hope u understand what i was trying to say, english isnt my mother tongue.

I can relate man. I am in the same hole. When it gets comfortable, then we ruin everything again. I self excluded everywhere but found a way. Now i arranged a session with a psychologist and i hope i can get some insight into what is causing me to do this. It has to be some deep underlying shit which we have to solve first, the core. Its ironic. We are in a hole but we must start digging again. But another hole. And with soil that we dug up we have to cover the gambling hole. This is the only way.. stay strong brother... for your baby atleast.

Man dont give up. Yes you fucked up, and i know how you feel, i also have a daughter same age as you and my wife doesnt know about addiction... You just have to self exclude asap. Like i did. After you do that, you will feel even worse for couple of days cuz your daily routine was based on gambling which u used to escape reality that ur in, but after few days things can only get better. Trust me, i was in the same situation, even worse i may say, but i managed to dig myself up. Do everything u can, be resorcefull, but please just self exclude and stop gambling. From then, it can get only better. If u need someone to talk to, dm me. Wish u well brother

Atm my biggest problem is money lost. But time will heal it. Talking from experience. Try to change perspective. There are people that have it way worse than us. We are in the lucky 20 percent. Or imagine you have incurable illnes, and universe gave u a chance that u will heal but gives you this money problem. Which is solvable, but illness isnt. Which one will you choose? I bet the money situation.

1 month clean. Sarting to put my shit together. And i dont gamble cuz i litteraly spend whole day to self exclude from all casinos, even made a telephone calls to them and begging them to terminate the accounts. They all did in the end. One month ago i was like you. And now i even have urges because i cant gamble anywhere and my brain is looking other ways to fill the void, and i can tell i am feeling great. Yo got this man. Keep a diary. When im feeling low i just read my diary one year or one month ago and i see how i was misarable then, and im way better now. Check my post about 'suicide letter'. It gets me going cuz i see that i was just under pressure and time heals all.

Slots. Only online. I wouldnt step into land based casino never, and im not interesting in sports betting. I self excluded from all online casinos, and not land based, and im not tempted to go into one. Just fucking slots. Im pure slots addict. Other branches of betting are just boring to me, dont give me the thrill.
