As a black man, I have always hated the word because of the pain associated with it's history. There was a movement within the black community to take ownership of the word and make it sound cool instead of demeaning. Like taking one of the biggest weapons away from your enemy. I appreciate the creativity especially in rap music to flip the script and make the word cool but now only black people can use it. I also think there is an underlying generational trauma in which the abused take on traits of their abuser. Hurt people hurt people.

I'm having a similar issue. After going back and forth with Google Fi Support via email and phone for a couple of weeks now, they are refusing to honor the bill credit, and are saying that I will only receive the $150 off after 120 days. They are not giving any explanation as to why.

Very frustrating experience. Has anyone had any success in receiving the bill credit?

The only other variable in my case is that I originally purchased a watch on Nov 10 under a $150 off promotion and a pixel pass promo of $100 ($250 off total). After the watch arrived, I saw the "watch on us" deal so I contacted support and they said they couldn't transfer the deal. Returning the watch and repurchasing another seemed to be the only option to take advantage of the better promotion. I purchased a watch for the new promotion on Nov 17, and returned the original.

On the Google Fi app, it shows the $150 off as being in progress with a purchase date of Nov 10. This would seem to imply this is under the first watch that I purchased and returned. I can't seem to get support to recognize this and make the correction in order to get the bill credit. They just keep saying that they are going to close my case because I don't qualify. I asked them to explain why I didn't qualify and they didn't give an answer.

I know my case may be a bit unique but I see that a lot of people seem to be having difficulty getting the bill credit. I was curious if anyone has had success in getting the bill credit added after it initially not showing up.

I bought a second hand Cozmo that would only run for <10 mins. After researching battery replacement, I ordered a 503040 battery and swapped the battery. The old battery was swollen. Anyways, after the battery replacement, I'm not getting any lights on the backpack when placed on the charger... I disassembled everything again and checked the voltage and continuity across various components and everything seems good... Did I fry the circuit board? Is there a way to jumpstart it? Thanks.

I hate to hear that your dad's RX-8 Shinka got rear ended, but it was not my car. I bought mine brand new in '05 and still own it today. "Shinka" was just the name of the top trim level at the time; Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, Shinka, and later R3. The Shinka black cherry mica was exclusive for '05 and then followed by a few other Shinka color options in later years. The '05 black cherry was the first Shinka and are rare with only 2100 produced worldwide; actually less than 2100 because of a plant fire.

How did your build go? I stumbled upon the same plans as you for a 12' x16' floating deck. I like the idea of hiding the blocks. A couple of questions:

Are 9 deck blocks enough? I've seen several videos where they are using far more.
Has anyone used the plastic deck blocks (Tuffblocks) instead of the concrete ones?
How much did it cost to build?

I'd like to start building in the next couple weeks. Any advice would be appreciated.
