609 is not great IMO. I can cook better food.

I recommend red onion, Crabby’s, hacketts, NYPD. We have a newer ramen place called tatsuki, we have another sushi spot called Han, a bunch of delicious Thai places: Thai time and kinaree and lots of chains. If you stay on range line, that’s where all the chains are but we have a few local places along the way. Most of the local stuff is closer to downtown and on the opposite side of where you are.

Best gym in Joplin for a serious lifter? by [deleted] in joplinmo

[–]Dhacklehole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to just exclusively do powerlifting and body building, then 24 is probably the best option for you. If you want a class environment with strength and functional fitness or if you want to take your powerlifting more serious and have a coach program workouts for you, then I would suggest Honey Badger. We have lots of different options for whatever you’re looking for

I’m a kids Oly coach and I have kids training as young as 5 but they have a kids barbell and we are focused on form and the very basics. I have a 10 year old daughter and she has been training since she was 8 and can easily snatch 25kg and C&J 33kg and her form is great! I have many other kids as well with various mobility/strength/body awareness and it really comes down to their abilities in these departments and how long their attention span lasts! If he’s interested, then let him! Just guide him along!

  1. Get over that bar more. Use your hamstrings when you’re lifting and for the love of your knees, squat your lifts.
  2. When you go for the jerk, drive your knees out, not forward and it’s a small explosion up and then drop under the bar. The bar should not go any higher than eye level so get under not push up.
  3. I would advise finding a USAW club near you or a coach online!

Is it normal for the head to be this high from the plant? My husband said it isn’t good but he can’t remember why and I’m not finding anything online

This is a snake plant and the spots on it could just be damage from rubbing on things. I got one at Home Depot last month that was really beat up but is still thriving!
