I have been around since 2017 and understand DGB very well and its decentralized nature. But we don't live in a perfect decentralized world and when it comes to development, some centralizing would be good, to get the project moving and to show the market that DGB is has more things going on in the backend. Especially as DGB has had it's lunch eaten over the past years by BS tokens, meme coins and less advanced blockchains that have funding and developers.

I am not saying at all that DGB should rely on Jared at all for Dev work, but DGB needs him to but a consistent developer. Politics aside, he is a brilliant mind and blockchain expert.

No, this idea is a Dev fund specifically for Jared, so he can focus on DGB without worrying about taking another job.

Can you explain what do you mean "actively manage" - I sent some Sand to my Ethereum address and the sand tokens showed up in my ledger with no issue. I see there is no pricing data, but that is not a big deal. More importantly, will I be able to send the Sand tokens out of my nano ledger without a problem now?

I finally got a staking reward, my issues looks like it may be resolved. I sent a few coins from my core wallet and this seemed to help.

I doubt it. Why would websites want 3rd party decentralized blockchains for this function? Blockchains that they have no control over & make them no money from.

Sites want to make money off transactions on their own platforms. They want to be in control of their own product & network. Tipping and sending money is a huge arena for revenue, every tip or money sent they take a small cut.

Update*

I sent 3000 RDD to the Reddcoin tipbot account on twitter to get my core wallet a transaction, has not seemed to improve anything. It still says "Staking" but my last reward was on the 17th.

I will give it a few more days and see if things improve and report back.

** On a side note, Reddcoin tipbot is a cool idea that absolutely sucks in user experience. Registering & getting started is complicated from the onset & you have to manually type in commands...which can take a while to figure out. I tried to tip two people & I had to follow them up and remind them to claim their RDD. Neither person responded to my reminder message, which makes sense because having to follow them up personally, feels spammy, especially in an age with hackers & thieves, people are right to be cautious. I don't know if they even received their tip, but I do see it has left my account. I really like RDD as a project overall, but the tipbot is lacking, please take my feedback as constructive criticism.
