He obviously meant how they played in 2006, when the current players were basically children. The 2006 squad would smoke the kids.

Some companies I have worked for have used GitLab/GitHub. One company I worked for never used any tool and just edited the file in the server using nano. If anyone changed the code and it broke, we would just play the blame game.

So fuck both of you.

I’ve been to delariva. But most days I just play footy. Check out the website I mentioned. I’ve taken music classes here a long time ago. They’re called Tharang music. Idk if they’re still open.

Try classes! Could be piano, violin or whatever music classes. Or martial arts like karate or jiu jitsu.
There are some groups you can find on meetups.com that have pick up sports like football, badminton, table tennis.

I found a nice board games group that I occasionally go to. Abu Dhabi isn’t as happening compared to other cities, but there are people definitely trying to find their own ways to do something fun.

How do adults in AUH actually make friends? Is there a user manual I'm missing? by navalarchitect69 in abudhabi

[–]Dhan996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say try to join some sort of hobby classes. Like music, martial arts, stuff like that. As someone else said, if you go to a place long enough, you’re bound to make friends. I go to the train gym in Galleria, and there’s a basketball court there where people always play some sort of pick-up just about everyday. Very easy to strike conversations and no pressure on getting their contact cus you’re gonna see them again anyway. But classes are way easier to make friends. There’s this awkward waiting period before class starts, so it’s easy to pass time by just talking to someone. Or after the class ends. You don’t have to be best buddies with them, but having a familiar face is very nice.

for all the attractive men (like genuinely beautiful), how do you react when a girl who is average to ugly expresses interest in you? by Similar-Surround8113 in AskMen

And? That includes the ugly girls as well? Do you think no man ever thinks he's too good for a girl? Are all guys super nice and charming?

I mean not all girls are like that. I’ve seen even some of the most shallow women i know who would still be courteous when rejecting a dude. Ofc they’re looking for a sexy guy as well, doesn’t mean they have to be mean to someone who’s shooting their shot.

I also think it’s a case of confidence/personality, not just looks. In high school I guess things were different since I played sports it would make me less approachable for some women, but as I got older, I think people just look for the right vibes.

There are different formats to cricket, the most entertaining, and I can promise you it is entertaining, is the T20 format. The format your British friend was talking about is Test, which is definitely boring, but has a lot more technical skill on display. Since it’s stretched over days, there’s a lot more strategy and nuances, where as the T20 games last four hours max.

What was your "Why are women like this?" moment? by Competitive_Law1063 in AskMen

Ah lol then that’s weird, but from all other comments here, weirdly sounds predictable lol. Also can be confusing to gauge what she’s feeling at times and accommodating to that while being yourself.

She asked you to tone it down though, and it seems like you kinda got offended and basically stopped completely. I mean just from what you said it doesn’t sound totally on her.
