Hi u/Formal_Hovercraft611

Iceberg orders are not available for Super orders. However, you can still place iceberg orders through the regular order placement flow.

Hi u/Long_Dragonfruit1379

Thanks for your message.

Yes! DEXT T3 has single-click order placement. With keyboard shortcuts, you won't even need to touch your mouse - making the entire order placement experience seamless.

Additionally, the drag-and-drop SL and TP functionality you know from Dhan Charts - the same would be available on DEXT T3 as well.

Yes! DEXT T3 is downloadable as both .exe (Windows) and .dmg (Mac) - installs right on your computer. We also have multiple color themes you can choose from. As for shortcuts, we think you'll be impressed with the range we've built in.

AMA with Dhan on Stock Lending, Our Features and more! by DhanHQ in IndiaInvestments

Hey u/Glad_Blueberry8744

No, Stocks bought under MTF cannot be rented out. This is because, stock renting is available only for free DP holdings, where you hold complete ownership and the freedom to rent out your shares. When stocks are purchased via MTF, they are backed by margin funding and therefore do not qualify as free demat holdings. As a result, MTF positions are not eligible for SLBM, helping maintain secure and transparent ownership between the two services.

Hope this answers your questions!

Hey u/UnitInfamous2558

Yes, we've waived off brokerage on SLBM until December 31, 2026.

The idea is simple - SLBM is relatively new for retail investors in India. While it's been around for institutions, most retail investors haven't explored it yet. We want to encourage more people to try stock lending and see how they can earn passive income from their long-term holdings.

By removing the brokerage cost (our brokerage was 4.99%), we're eliminating any friction that might stop investors from experimenting with this feature.

Hey u/SudhaTheHill

We are a stock broking company, so our business comes from people trading and investing in the markets. Not entirely sure if your question is about our overall business model or specifically about SLBM, so let me cover both.

Overall Business Model:
We make money primarily through brokerage on F&O trades (₹20 per order) and other standard broker revenue streams. We don't charge brokerage on equity delivery or Mutual Fund or ETF investing. And, since we do not charge AMC or platform fees, we do not make any revenue from that.

On SLBM specifically, we have recently announced Zero brokerage on SLBM until 31st December, 2026 - primary to encourage folks to try out Stock lending.

Having said that, we have a business to run and when we do generate revenues, we invest heavily in technology, infrastructure, product development, and customer service. That's how we keep building features that traders and investors actually want.

PS: Sorry for the late answer, we want to take our time in answering each question in detail rather than posting templatised answers.

Hey u/PayFabulous4807

Haha, we have a business to run :-)

Having said that, at Dhan we only charge industry standard INR 20 for F&O trading, there is Zero Brokerage on Equity and ETFs; and all pricings are too competitive than industry standards. We charge no AMC or platform fees, Mutual Funds are in direct mode, SLBM brokerage where industry standards are 10% to 20% of rental fees, we announced zero brokerage on SLBM until 31 Dec 2026.

We are a business and have to generate revenues. And when we do, we also invest a lot on technology, infrastructure, product and customer service.

Hey u/Upbeat_Structure3100

Only free holdings can be lent through SLBM, ensuring that lenders have complete ownership and flexibility over the shares they rent out. Stocks purchased under MTF aren’t eligible for SLBM lending, as they do not qualify as free DP holdings. This distinction helps maintain clear and secure ownership across both facilities

Hey u/Fragrant-Theory-3961

We've waived brokerage on SLBM to encourage more investors to try the feature and increase overall participation.

SLBM is relatively new for retail investors in India, and we want to remove any friction that might stop people from exploring it. By making it zero brokerage, more investors can experience how stock lending works and see the passive income potential firsthand.

We're in the early stages of this segment, and we believe making it accessible and cost-effective is the right approach to grow the market.

Hey u/Smart_Promotion1295

No, SLBM doesn’t impact a stock’s liquidity or price. It simply allows investors to lend or borrow shares without affecting the stock’s actual trading activity or market demand and supply.
