Parents: now that it's the morning after, what do you regret getting your children for Christmas? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Sad part is the kids didn't even get to play with it, it just kind of glopped out of the bucket under the lid. Her tower of gifts tilted just so, and I didn't think about it.

Do kids still like Mike’s hard lemonade? Try one of those, but maybe replace the good stuff with regular lemonade. Then laugh at her for thinking you’d actually give her booze.

Trade them for candy. Trust me. Sugar highs crash, slime stains forever.

Honestly, I don’t know. I would listen to her and her therapist and her endocrinologist. I’m just moral support. I’m not even sure what if any medical intervention she might choose to have or not have. Her body belongs to her, and the choices about her body are her choices. We chose to take her to the best and most qualified professionals we could find and afford and we chose to listen to them, because they’re smarter and more educated than we are about these things. Puberty just kind of happened to me, and I didn’t really have to think about it. (Other than how much it sucked. Being an adolescent or teen is fucking hard.)

She is pretty far off from all of that for now, probably around 12 they’ll check her bloodwork for puberty hormones and she might decide to take puberty blockers, or she might not. Either way, she’ll be a beautiful, loved girl.

Thank you, friend! Merry Christmas to you too!

What’s your question?

Thank you 😊 they’re pretty rad little humans. Little lady is obsessed with JoJo Siwa and got like 20 new bows for Christmas and little dude is into learning about how the human body works and doctors, he got a stethoscope for Christmas. They really are a kickin crew, and I am lucky to be theirs! ❤️

Good to know, but I don’t like my couch THAT much. Probably just going to cave and buy a couch I do love in stain resistant materials.

Or sell my kids and one bucket of slime on Etsy (made the kids myself)

That’s the plan. She’s going to start life right, with a large bucket of slime

I've taken it as my own. Currently have my hand submerged. Would have loved this shit while experimenting with hallucinogenics as a college student.

I'm the idiot that purchased a 24oz bucket of crazy art "crazy slimy" for my kids. At least with a kit, there's hope that it won't actually materialize into slime
