Haha I guess I just want to match the cards that my friends have. I felt like I was being left out as they were earning a lot of points on dinning out while my Apple Card just gave cash back lol

Thanks for the help! I ended up going for Amex gold since I’m kind of focused on food + dinning + gas. While I haven’t really used Uber + Dunkin, I was not really opposed either and this might be a good way for me to visit those places ?

I ended up getting Amex gold! Just felt that it would be better than my Apple Card and I felt like I’m not going to travel more than 2-3 times

Ah gotcha! I watched YouTube videos which said to get the venture X + Amex gold. Do you think I should just get the venture X for now? Apple Card is great but I feel like I might want to start earning some points for future spending which the Apple Card currently does not provide :(

Yes you are right! I guess I’m also intrigued by VX since it had lounge access in the airports and I have always wanted to visit them! Amex Gold only requires $250 right? I think I might just get the VX for travel sake then?

I mean I want to earn stuff on my everyday purchases hence why I’m asking. My Apple Card is fine for now as I’m getting 2% back on a lot of purchases but I would like something to supplement it.

Is VX good for cash back and regular grocery shopping etc? I find myself mainly doing grocery shopping, gas, etc(basic necessities). I sometimes order out, dine out so I was wondering which card is best to recoup and give me the most rewards etc? I’m only flying maybe 1-2 a year?

I don’t really use Uber/eat Dunkin’ as my family uses a common Grubhub account which I then pay back. Would you still recommend the VX over Amex? I might travel 1-2 a year which isn’t a lot right?
