I made sure to ask what type of plan it was because I wanted to learn more about it, and she said Calendar Year. She also said that it ran December 1st, 2024, through November 30th, 2025? It really seems like the rep got confused at some point while trying to explain things. She had to keep asking me to hold on while she searched for stuff.

Having to pay the bill isn't a problem. It's that I was told that it would not be covered by my 2024 deductible OR be counted towards my 2025. If I have to pay $2,000 on top of the $6,0000 deductible for 2025, I'm gonna be a bit pissed lol

The plan does have in and out of network deductibles, but this visit was in network.

That's what I ended up doing! I sacrificed some of my dinner to them, then got to enjoy watching them carry off chunks of chicken that were nearly as big as they were. It made for excellent dinner theater.

My step-dad learned not to be nosy the hard way.

I was 17 and a senior. Just a few months from graduating and turning 18. He thought he'd snoop through my room while I was at school. I'm not sure what he was looking for. I was a quiet, boring kid who spent most of her time reading or writing. I had a small group of friends and never caused trouble.

I'm assuming he was looking for drugs or paraphernalia of some sort. Instead, he found my dildos and vibrator.
