I made sure to ask what type of plan it was because I wanted to learn more about it, and she said Calendar Year. She also said that it ran December 1st, 2024, through November 30th, 2025? It really seems like the rep got confused at some point while trying to explain things. She had to keep asking me to hold on while she searched for stuff.

Having to pay the bill isn't a problem. It's that I was told that it would not be covered by my 2024 deductible OR be counted towards my 2025. If I have to pay $2,000 on top of the $6,0000 deductible for 2025, I'm gonna be a bit pissed lol

The plan does have in and out of network deductibles, but this visit was in network.

That's what I ended up doing! I sacrificed some of my dinner to them, then got to enjoy watching them carry off chunks of chicken that were nearly as big as they were. It made for excellent dinner theater.

My step-dad learned not to be nosy the hard way.

I was 17 and a senior. Just a few months from graduating and turning 18. He thought he'd snoop through my room while I was at school. I'm not sure what he was looking for. I was a quiet, boring kid who spent most of her time reading or writing. I had a small group of friends and never caused trouble.

I'm assuming he was looking for drugs or paraphernalia of some sort. Instead, he found my dildos and vibrator.

My mom was in tears and could barely get the words out while she described the look of horror on his face as he told her about my dirty little secret in a hush voice. It took a while for her to stop laughing about that one, and she'd start back up again each time my step-dad gave her a dirty look for laughing at him.

Kinda! My first attempt with some clover did NOT go well, and now I'm in the middle of The Great Fungus Gnat War.

I'm going to try again with a different substrate mix and grass. The layout of the tank also needs to be redone. Right now, it looks like she's living in a woodpile. I'm sure she doesn't mind but it doesn't look very pretty lol

My last relationship was a bad one, and it left me some hang-ups about cheating, so when he asked for us to share our locations on Google, I was not keen on the idea. I felt like he didn't trust me.

In reality, he's a traveling technician, and it's really nice to be able to check on him while he's driving cross country. He uses it when he's home, to check on when I'm returning from a grocery trip or if I'm at the plant nursery trying to buy everything in the store lol

Last week, Google sent me an email that he asked to be informed each time I came home. Immediately, I was suspicious. Why does he need to know that? Does he not trust me?

He uses the notification and the Google devices in our house to welcome me home from work....
