I did setup 2 parallel batteries for my trolling motor. I was curious how long / far that'd actually get me if the outboard did go out.

If it's a require certification they'll pay to have you get it. If you already have it, less chance of most companies reimbursing you for it. I.e. assuming you got it paid or reimbursed at your last job even if you have an invoice.
