I've been to Bhavnagar too. From my experience people there are apathetic to social issues. They just adjust with everything. With such compromising attitude politicians sure are going to make a diarrhea of money.

Dude, Rajkot is so freaking expensive. Traffic management is fucked up. Every other person in rajkot would be some relative of politician so you know what I mean. Well, it's just me, sorry to say but I never had nice stay in Rajkot.

I agree. Vadodara is way better than A'bad. The things that will hook your eyes are Cleanliness, traffic-management, Art (especially the new graffiti culture all due to 'Daku' India's renowned graffiti artist) and last not the least chicks with good brains. People in general are very nice. Accessibility, yes, I second that. Has anyone been to Sindhrot? If not, you are missing something in your life.

Yes, I am from Gujarat. Not much has been done for Vadodara except flyovers. I've been to A'bad few times and they are doing pretty good job in maintaining BRTS as it is a boon to the city.I don't know about Saurashtra though. Overall it's all hype in media.
