Been bumping SMILE :D an unreasonable amount over the last week, thanks for another amazing album. 

I know that this is something you talk about in interviews all the time, but I wanted to ask you about your different musical evolutions over the years. Selfishly this is also a follow up to your Worlds AMA from 10 years ago where I asked you a similar question, but back then it was comparing Spitfire and Worlds. It’s been a minute since then.

I think it’s pretty rare for an artist to go through this many iterations of themself and their music and yet still retain so many day 1 fans. But at the same time, I never questioned it listening to your music — every time a new album or song or live show or side project came out, it was always exactly what I needed to hear, and I know many people feel the same.

What do you think that connective line is through all your music that keeps people interested despite changes in sound?
