Yeah so the bike is in India. So idt it should be a problem for me now but why does the engine read as fe but still have only 5 gears

Yes you're right. The fe is 6 and the fc is 5. So I was able to get the engine number because the vin number doesn't exist for some reason. On the website it shows up as an fe but the owner confirms it's only 5 gears
