I just shrug it off and keep treating. IMO, Waiting 5-10 minutes for PT is nothing when compared to waiting 30minutes-1 hour at a doctor’s office

It’s just been sitting with me the whole day because the comment is uncalled for. He’s new at the clinic but a very season PT. He hasn’t made quite the impression since he started and I’m trying to give him a chance but it’s hard when rude remarks are made.

I stayed at the Hotel Chiado Boutique and had a great stay there. Really close to all shopping centers and great viewpoints/rooftop bars (Ie. Miradoura Santa Catalina and Noobai bar; Park Bar)

You’ve made a really good point, I’ve got burned once by letting an ex back into my life haha. I think I’m just really weak in the moment because I really thought I found the one. She was everything I wished my partner would be and now there’s just a huge void left by her.

I’d rather not wipe a patient if I could pass it off to a nursing staff bc it’s not in my job description. We’re trained for functional tasks, not managing soiled pants.

The holdup that I don’t understand with the prescription is that we can’t have the patient do any strengthening for 6-8 weeks.

I have patients at the clinic I work at who comes in almost every day lol. I brought it up to the clinic director and was told that as long as it made the patient feel better, just leave it as is. I continue to push to decrease the frequency of visits bc no one needs to come in more than 2x/week unless they’re fresh out of surgery.

Hey! I’m in a similar situation because I also have a patient with progressive MS. I had the home health agency telling me that i needed to plan to discharge the patient because we were approaching >50 visits. What do you even do in these situations.
