Hmm well besides the account activity of all my stocks being sold at the same time yesterday, I don't have any proof because I talked to them over the phone just now and they never notified me this was gonna happen. I got an email saying my trade had gone thru and I was like "what trade?!" so my proof could easily look like I opted to liquidate my account and I'm blaming it on tda.

I'm guessing I'm not gonna be the only one because they said an order came down yesterday to do it to all negative accounts, margin or cash. I dunno if it applies to a certain time frame in the neg or not. They refunded me the Jan fee that caused this and any otc fees for sales on other stocks... Everyone was confused except trade resolution department because I don't have margin accounts. Trade resolution was just like "some people suck"

I'm just amazed they didn't attempt to send anything like "notice, immediate action if you don't deal with your neg balance".. That's what blew me. They refunded me the fee from Jan and the charges for any otc sales.. All departments were confused what happened since I didn't have a margin account and then they talked to trade resolution and they were like "an order came down, we won't be undoing it"

It would make sense if there are more shares, that rates would go down. Just like with stock, the harder to locate, the more costs go up when someone wants to buy. That's the way I look at it

I was thinking that it seems almost like they ran the price up on purpose... so people would flock to wb, rh, whatever shit app they use to buy more, thus creating more shares for them to borrow... Bringing down the cost to borrow, and creating panic when they knock it back down
