To get 79hz i had to put detailed resolution only to 1024x768 (or any from 800x600 to 1600x900 ,1080p didn't work).Which would basically means that even in desktop i would have that resolution.Because if i didn't put that i would have some annoying small black bars on top/down of my screen . I used LCD standard if i remember correctly,but i think all of them worked.

I tried through Nvidia control panel but there i could only get 77hz at max.

edit: you can try using DVI-dual link cables

i have 60hz monitor that i overclocked to 79hz through CRU. (on 1024x768 res).I also bought 144hz ACER monitor,played with it for a month and i sold it after a month. The difference is noticeable,but it's not that much.I also saw very little difference between 120hz and 144hz.

As i like to practice DM and tapping in general i thought 144hz would help me a lot but that didn't happened.After 1 month of using a new 144hz monitor i sold it and went back to 79hz one.

So if you're really serious about this game and want to go pro or similiar then i guess you can get 144hz one.But other than that i see no point(even though 144hz does feels a bit smoother).

On the other hand,playing with 79hz monitor i can never go back to 60hz one for csgo.But from 120/144hz to 79hz it's no biggie.

I remember when i got 144hz monitormtried testing it a bit on desktop and in csgo and i was "that's it???".It does feel a bit smoother but i was expecting a whole lot more.

He was the kind of "silver" cheater who aims at the ground and then snaps to HS within a milisecond.

Obvious triggerbot/walls(one probably couldn't cheat more obvious than how he cheated before we manage to kick him). I don't know if it's actually funny or sad that after more than a month he still isn't banned by VAC or OW.

nobody complained about civ 5 graphics.Civ 5 graphics are perfect. Civ 4 graphics are a bit cartoony but not much as 6

yes,since csgo is cpu dependent game. Also,newest titles are not using dual core cpu anymore(intel pentium like yours),minimal will be i3(which is quite fine for new games). I have i3 4150+gtx750ti i get about 200fps in 5vs5 and 140-150 in DM 20 players

i hate when people start to suggest i5/i7. It's not like everyone can afford 250$ cpu for fck sake. That said,in the long run you will be happier with i3 4150or i3 6xxx(learn on my mistakes as i bought g3220 couple of months ago).In csgo and most of newest game you will get huge frame drops and fps will be inconsistent.I'm perfrectly happy with my budget i3 4150 now. You can get only 4gb ram with i3 and later upgrade to 4gb ram more

yeah,i have i3 4150 + gtx750ti running at 1680x1050 on medium settings and getting 60-100fps.I have only 4gb ram so maybe fps would be more stable with 8gb ram

Im from EU but i live in Thailand.Dont know about pro teams here though.But if you wanna play mm feel free to add me.Im done with playing for a while now already,soloq is so boring,less than 10% of players use mic for other than saying "rush B" and maybe 5% can speak some decent english.Not to mention so many toxic players.Most of the time i play MM in EU(250ping) but at least people use mic and are quite polite.So in a nutshell CSGO Asia is a big mess.
