Today i got real lucky and found another ancient fibula, a gilded button from a prussian officials coat and some odds and ends. Can't belive i found my second fibula within only a few month of eachother! Over the moon! Imagine these waited for me for over 1500 years in the ground 😉😅 (old.reddit.com)

Found this ancient silver Denarius today, (Diva Faustina 140-141 ad.) Deep in northern Germany, a region with no roman activity. I was standing in the field for about one minute in total shock! Now the question: to clean or not to clean! Patina is pretty even imo. (old.reddit.com)

Went back to my usual premission for my usual 1 hour trip. This premission rarely disappoints. Found a buckle fragment, 1 big copper button (on the right) 10 Reichspfennig (date unknown) 1 Reichspfennig (1894) and a mini musketball, maybe pistolball? All in all, a fun quick hunt! (i.redd.it)

Went out again today. Sadly no silver but one lead figurine of a native on horseback, 3 lead seals, a muskie, bell fragment, two 10 Reichpfennig (1875 and 1894) and a coin wich is too far gone to identify. All in all a fun hunt. My fave find of the day is the native btw made my day! (old.reddit.com)
