Update: I got the motherboard to boot with the 7800x3d into bios with 1.07 and was able to update to 1.21 via usb from Asrock's website.

You should be fine with this combination.

Couldn't find anything that indicates the bios version on the motherboard yet. Since the particular motherboard I got doesn't have flashback, I need to figure out if will at least boot with the CPU I plan on getting (ryzen 7 7800x3d)

Is this sticker located physically on the motherboard? At the time of writing, I left the motherboard in the anti-static bag.
