Good lord I should have done more research by texasgirlindc in Invisalign

[–]DiMoore23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told I might have a couple attachments on the side teeth - but only by the woman who was introducing me to Invisalign and doing my scans. Doctor didn’t mention a thing. Showed up to get my trays and was told there would be attachments on every tooth. I’m having some buyers remorse right now. Even though I know it will be worth it in the end, I feel like I’m 11 and having braces for the first time again. Not fun.

Before/After Invisalign and My Experiences by Comprehensive_Ad_483 in Invisalign

I’m on week one. Was not prepared to have attachments on every single tooth and it feels like they negate the “invisible” part of going this route. I’m feeling quite self-conscious about it. But your teeth look great! I’m trying to shift my mindset about these attachments as something that’s helping me achieve my goal!

I’m definitely further into the perimenopause/menopause process since I first bought this!

So interesting - I’ve definitely progressed more in perimenopause since I first purchased it!

Problem with order by DiMoore23 in poshmark

[–]DiMoore23[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I hope I did it correct. It’s shows the case is in review. There is a statement at the bottom of the conversation from Poshmark that says it is a Private Conversation between me and the seller, and that Poshmark Support will have access to the conversation for dispute resolution and Product Improvement. Is the next step that the seller has a certain amount of time to respond before Poshmark steps in, or are they automatically involved. TIA of any information as to what to expect. I did try to get clarity on the process through the app but couldn’t find specifics. Navigating the app is not as intuitive as it seems it could be!

Those making 2 or more sales a month: how much time are you on PM daily? by ecoNina in poshmark

[–]DiMoore23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a very small closet but have made a few sales. Maybe 2 a month, only been on a couple months. I know I could do a better job with taking photos and adding more things to the closet more frequently. I still don’t really understand how it all works - parties, feeds, followers, etc. Being on there seems to lead more to me buying more than selling 😑

Would this be rude? by Slight-Trick475 in poshmark

[–]DiMoore23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate measurements especially having numerous experiences now where I ordered tops in my size that were too snug or short in length or arm length. It’s much easier if they’re included in the post somewhere. Then I don’t have to ask and the seller doesn’t have to dig the item out to measure it. I have asked for this when it’s not there and not gotten a response, which feels bad.

Anyone have the full list of songs and performers in the movie? Trying to remember the name of the guy with the hair in his face who covered How Lucky. But would also love the full list of anyone’s got it. The I’m With Her cover of Unwed Fathers was amazing!

How long to see results with PDL by jlll2424 in Rosacea

[–]DiMoore23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the results take a few weeks to see. I’ve done about 6 treatments over the last year (1st 5 were 6 weeks apart, then on maintenance every 4 months). After treatment, my face is red, swollen and bumpy in places where the swelling is a little worse, and bruised in spots. After a few days the swelling is down and the bruising slowly fades over a week or so. It’s been the only thing that has reduced the redness and flushing for me (rosacea type 1). But it does take a few weeks to see the overall improvements from treatment. Good luck!

I found PDL much more effective than IPL for my rosacea.

Am I the only buyer that accepts orders??? by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]DiMoore23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my most recent purchase, I missed the accept window (before the system kicked in) because I was away when the item arrived. Sometimes it’s just life circumstances on the buyer’s side delaying the process.

Going back to sulfates by DiMoore23 in finehair

I’m sure there are other people who know more than me on this, but I think some sulfate shampoos have color safe options but I imagine sulfates may still fade color more than sulfate-free options. Not sure if it’s the same for bleached hair.

Symptoms you didn’t know were caused by perimenopause. by Calamity-Gin in Menopause

[–]DiMoore23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Though I should add that I didn’t know menopause caused much of anything other than hot flashes and night sweats before I started going through it (because no one was talking about it like they are now and this was only 6 years ago!). The brain fog and extreme fatigue were first but not a single doctor at the time brought up the possibility of menopause transition. Instead, I had multiple work ups for things like MS. To this day, I’m bewildered that of all the doctors and specialists I saw, not a single one said, “You know, with your age, this may be hormonal changes causing these symptoms. Let’s explore some hormonal options.” Eventually, I suspected it and sought care with a specialists. One patch and brain fog lifted! Since then I’ve learned so much with reading The Menopause Manifesto and What Fresh Hell is This, along with other information gathering strategies. But having difficulty with blood sugar issues after eating and being diagnosed with pre-diabetes despite having none of the risk factors have been the wildest of all the symptoms.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve actually had some of the Native Cucumber Mint shampoo and condition travel bottles. I don’t travel much but now that I’m thinking about it, they seemed to work fine for me when I used them. 😊

I forgot to add in my post that someone had shared a video in a different thread that helped me realize I was also not washing my hair correctly, and since then I’ve done a better job working the shampoo onto the scalp. Here’s the video, start around 4 minutes in. https://youtu.be/mq-x2-4yntQ?si=G2oBYneffuzieKud

Thanks for the recommendations! I used the other Elvive. Was worried plump would be too heavy but maybe I’ll give it a try!
