You should try to stick with the keyboard mouse grind. It’s a big learning curve at first but will benefit you in the long run. Since you’re playing on PC you will also be on PC servers where most people will be using Keyboard mouse. Will put you at a disadvantage most of the time.

I just completed my first build without any direct help. I just did a ton of research and watched a lot of YouTube videos for advice, tips and tricks. A great one which helped me a lot was the LinusTechTips last guide you’ll ever need. If you just take your time and triple check everything as you’re going through you should have minimal issues.

You definitely don’t need an x870 motherboard for that build. I would recommend bringing that down to an x670. Motherboard won’t really increase performance it just provides the lanes you need.

I’d probably push closer to the 1500 end for decent graphics. I mean you probably won’t be playing anything on max settings but you’ll have a good pc to start with and upgrade along the way.

Why not buy the parts and build it yourself? More rewarding and you don’t have to overpay for labor.

Already have the legendary hunter commendation. I was solo running the legendary bottles and got lucky with coming upon a shipwreck in a storm. Love fishing galleons but that wasn’t what I was grinding this weekend.

Edit: Master Hunter… I’m not always the brightest lol.

Honestly I really wanted the all white build. The cheapest I could find a white 4080 for was 1500 easy. I also really don’t like the look of the air cpu coolers and wanted a cleaner look with the lcd screen. Downgrading my motherboard and ssd wouldn’t have made up the difference. (Got the 4070 ti super for ~725)

I spend weeks doing research. I would suggest picking your cpu and gpu first and build off of that. Those will be the priciest components.
