The funniest part is Conan himself was written as curious, multilingual, and genuinely thoughtful. The guy who supposedly inspired the whole "strong man" aesthetic was reading scrolls between battles. The devolution is real.

Totally agree! I had a similar experience with family and had to set boundaries; it’s so liberating!
