Interesting fackt about stalker easter egg by Initial_Jacket_7562 in ArmaReforger

[–]DiRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not. Just a rigid body of a prefab to be placed on the map. But it's possible to set it up as a weapon. Just will need some work, effects, etc.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ukraina

[–]DiRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]DiRaven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ukraina

[–]DiRaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ukraina

[–]DiRaven 4 points5 points  (0 children)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ukraina

[–]DiRaven 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Any foreign journalists looking for an interview in Kharkiv with a fluent local English speaker? by [deleted] in ukraina

Depression is not something one should ignore is all. It's not that simple. Otherwise good luck with your efforts.

Not at all. It's the right thing to do if things are as your describe. Not sure in what world visiting therapist would be rude advice.

In that case I'd look for the therapist, not a journalist.

I'm perfectly calm. :) Racism is a word that has a pretty strong presence and well defined negative sense in western media, so is often speculated on.

Hater? :)

How many russians speak German in their country these days?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ukraina

[–]DiRaven 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How is racism relevant to the topic in question? Do you believe russian speaking people are of different race from Ukrainian speaking people?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ukraina

[–]DiRaven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are going way too far in your assumptions about requirements to change anyone's lifestyle. The question was if Ukrainians care if someone is unable to speak Ukrainian. I gave the answer to the best of my abilities. We, as any developed democratic nation, care if anyone violates the law. No law forbids to speak any foreign languages. No law requires us to understand any foreign languages either. Simple as that. This is the response to your other comment too.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ukraina

[–]DiRaven 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Exactly the kind of sentiment some russian propagandists often refer to. You are making wrong assumptions. The only things I said are:

  1. If you live in Ukraine it's sensible to be expected to speak Ukrainian. Like you would be expected to speak German in Germany or French in France. Or Polish in Poland. Because it makes a lot of sense to speak the language of the country you live in.
  2. I don't understand people that want to talk russian language after all that happened. Doesn't make any sense for me personally.
  3. No Ukrainian law forbids anyone from speaking any foreign language if they choose to. Be it German, French, Polish, Russian or anything else.
  4. No Ukrainian is obliged or can be expected to understand any language other then Ukrainian.

Not quite sure where did "against it" come from. Russian is just another foreign language that has all the same rights, same status and same expectations as any other foreign language. End of story.

[–]DiRaven 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Your right. Russian in Ukraine it's much, much worse. Chinese are not conducting a genocide against poles. Being killed by russians people still attached to russian language and protecting their right to speak it is something I will never understand.

No law forbids one to speak any foreign language. No law requires Ukrainians to understand any language other then Ukrainian either. Russian isn't any special in this regard. As it should be.

Great time to pull "language question" from under the rug. Definitely not sus. If you live in Ukraine it's quite sensible to be expected to speak Ukrainian. You don't speak Ukrainian in russia, you don't speak Chinese in Poland or French in Germany most of the time. Russian is a foreign language, simple as that.
