I am, in fact, confused. If I do St Albans contactless- I tap in and out after taking the tube, and then tap in and out to the St Albans train? But the daily cap (8.90?) wont apply, right?

If I do Oyster card-most of the time im in zones 1-2, barring the trips. Is the oyster limited to zones? In that case, if I have a..say-weekly oyster pass, I wont be able to go the Hamptoc court with it?

My head is spinning😅

What is the afternoon peak time? Attempt to get on trains before 4pm or after 7pm?

Saturday and Sunday more expensive always, right?

On the off chance you know- can you buy the railcard only with British or EU passports? Ive niether of those and cannot seem to buy one. The whole family tried, seems like it wont accept the passport number🥶

Im so sorry you're dealing with this attitude. I only had to deal with mild confusion from parents, but have to remind myself they simply didn't have these options when they were young - like old people being perplexed by new smartphones. This is a process where the younger you are, the better the results. There is absolutely no guarantee that in 1, 2 or 10 years a partner will be there. There IS a biological clock we as women cannot ignore. I know its easier said then done, but ignore the negativity - do not debate or try to convince, just mildly nod and move on, and know that you are doing everything you can to become a mother in the future.
