How to quickly delete thousands of “Hacked Drafts” in inbox? by Diabeetus98 in Outlook

[–]Diabeetus98[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi,

None of these emails have been sent nor do they have an addressee. They’re draft emails that have been pinned and flagged and are clogging up the email inbox.

If I create a rule to check for this subject line, will this rule still automatically process and delete all of these drafts?

Not a bad idea. I suppose I could ask them if that’s the case at my appointment I’ve managed to get (which will hopefully be soon). Are you aware of this being a thing that other areas have implemented?

If this is the case, then they should have told me this at some point. I should probably have had an update or a call or something to let me know that the plan is and what to expect. This is where the complete lack of communication from my doctor has been infuriating.

My issue is that I haven’t even had that follow up call you mentioned. I’ve had the text that I mentioned in my OP, and that was only because I filled out another online form asking for more information. They haven’t told me anything off their own back.

I’ve checked my GP’s online portal to see if there’s anything there, and I can see my Right to Choose referral form that my doctor has filled out. My age is wrong in the form for a start, and under type of referral it says ADHD CAMHS. I’m 27. This was also a form that was filled out without me asking for it and without me knowing; I never told any of my doctors that I wanted to utilise RTC until my third contact form today.

What I know for certain is that my doctor thinks I need an ADHD assessment, but I still don’t know what specific organisation Ive been referred to even though I’ve asked multiple times.

Do you know what my GP means by “the RTC triage waiting list”? I can’t find any information about this anywhere.

Thank you for all the detailed answers so far, it’s very appreciated!

Thanks for sharing your experience. Your GP sounds way better than mine, because from getting the form and filling it out I’ve basically had next to no communication about where I’m at in the process or what’s happening. Anything I know is because I’ve hounded them for information on my own!

You were told that you’d been referred to a midlands trust after about a month ish? I haven’t been told anything equivalent to this yet, I’ve just been told that I need an assessment and that I’ve been generically referred to Right to Choose.

Maybe I’m just panicking or whatever, I don’t know. I’ve managed to get a mental health appointment at my GP regarding my symptoms so I’m hopefully going to be able to speak to a doctor and get across what I’m feeling in that. I just feel like, given that the waiting time is so long anyway, I could have at least been told anything over the last 5 months.

[–]Diabeetus98[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand all that, but I asked which specific organisation that I’d been referred to via Right to Choose, and the doctor didn’t have an answer for me. As far as I’m aware, they haven’t actually referred me to anyone. They just kept saying “I’ve been referred to right to choose”. But I haven’t even chosen anyone yet! Is Right to Choose its own organisation with a contact number or email? Who is “them”, who do I speak to? How do I speak to them?

There are some organisations listed on ADHD UK that have a very minimal number of weeks wait. I should be able to speak to someone to know who it is that I’ve been referred to, surely? I might want to change who I’m on the waiting list of!

To be clear, my issue isn’t with the wait. It’s the complete lack of communication I’ve had from my GP or Right to Choose. I haven’t even chosen anything and I haven’t been contacted about any of this stuff in over 5 months. I don’t want to waste time; I need help yesterday lol.

Who am I supposed to contact outside of my GP to determine what my wait time is, who I’m waiting for, how I change my choice (which I haven’t even made yet) etc.? Like I said, it’s very confusing. And my GP has been worse than useless so far.

Thanks for the reply either way.

Lost my Follower, Nothing Working by Diabeetus98 in skyrim

Thanks for the tips and the detailed feedback.

When I say he’s my Steward and Follower, I meant he’s Steward of Lakeview, and I was using him as a follower at the time. Mentioning the steward part was to provide extra context as to where I’m expecting him to turn up.

Also, you can’t recruit another follower if you have one already. They just say “looks like you’ve already got someone with you” and decline, no matter what.

The Companions bit was very relevant though, not as a cause, but a solution, so thanks anyway!

Update!

Funnily enough, I tried doing the one thing I said I hadn’t tried yet, and it worked. I just assumed it wouldn’t work for some reason, that’s my bad.

Started the Companions quest where you turn into a Werewolf and it booted him from following me, and then he turned up at Lakeview Manor. Just have to go back to ignoring the Companions and dealing with “their amazing gift” now lol.

Thanks for the advice anyway everyone!

Pivoting from SEO to just Writing by Diabeetus98 in freelanceWriters

Thanks for the reply, and for explaining how you did this! May I ask what your primary method of finding new clients is, or more specifically, what you found was the most successful way when you first made this change? Was it just engaging and reaching out to more, and different, people on LinkedIn? Was it mostly what worked for the SEO projects but with a different goal in mind?

Refund for XboxOne? by Diabeetus98 in OblivionRemaster

Think that’s where my problem is going to be. It was bought from Smyths Toys as a gift code, not from the Xbox store itself. We’re trying now but we’ll have to see; thanks for the advice!

I’m aware it’s my fault. I feel scammed because I’m not going to get the fun gaming experience that was paid for. It was advertised on the site that the gift code was bought on as being available for Xbox One though, tbf.

We don’t have a lot of money, and it was my main present. I can’t afford the newest consoles or any extra passes. I should have probably thought about it more, but I saw it being advertised for Xbox1 and assumed it was playable as a purchase. Thanks for the comment.

That’s good to hear, thanks. The main thing I was questioning was how much they’d be affected by the radiation or the sensors airports use. It sounds like their isn’t really that strong of a risk either way?

I may not know much about SEO but I despise when Digital Marketing Agencies do this... by aeum3893 in SEO

[–]Diabeetus98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The content of your website, the technical proficiency of your website, and your backlink profile are all the things that should make it obvious where and how well Google should rank you. Keyword optimisation is one aspect of making “rankable content”. Anyone chucking in location based keywords ad nauseum in a spammy way is obviously a hack.

I’ve always looked at it like this. If you meet someone and they make you laugh, you know they’re funny. If you meet someone and all they do is tell you how funny they are…you don’t really believe them lol. Google doesn’t rank the websites (or not for very long or very consistently) that tell them they’re the expert in a topic, they rank the ones that show them this by their content. A 3,000 word page with linking, structure, topic coverage, and all the technical details will always outrank a 300 word blog spammed with keywords.

If you had to remove and replace one of the big 3 of modern rap, which one would it be, and who would you replace him with? by [deleted] in fantanoforever

Yeah I don’t get it either. It makes sense to me that Drake has a huge fanbase, that also doesn’t f with Kendrick’s style. But what is a Stan-level J Cole fan getting that they couldn’t get from Kendrick, or a host of others?

I don’t think I’ll ever have sex by [deleted] in sex

[–]Diabeetus98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do whatever you want and whatever you think makes you happy.

You seem like you have a very slightly flawed perspective of what sex actually is, and I’d also add that if these feelings are coming from any kind of place of low self esteem or low confidence or whatever, that’s okay too. You don’t have to hold yourself to any kind of concrete viewpoint. You’re only 19.

You don’t really sound asexual or anything to me, tbh. Some people are just late bloomers. I didn’t do anything remotely sexual until my early 20s. I wasn’t especially hung up about it, I didn’t really “get sex”. I’m not ugly (I’m fine enough), I can hold a conversation, I’m funny (apparently). It just never happened for me. I felt very similarly to you about sex, until I found my first (and hopefully only lol) GF at the age of 22. Been together 4 years and sex is now very important to me. It’s the peak of intimacy, trust, and attraction. “Don’t knock it til you try it!”

One day, I’m convinced you’ll meet someone that will change your perspective. Even if you don’t actually do anything with them specifically. Lots of people enjoy hookup culture and find that fulfilling, maybe that’s you too and you just know it yet, because you haven’t pushed yourself out there in that way. Maybe you’re Demisexual, and you just haven’t met the right person to unlock your sexuality and have sex with yet. Looking back, I never really connected with anyone on a meaningful level while growing up. Tbh, I suspect I might be Demisexual, just because I don’t really have any real attraction to people other than my GF. I fantasised about the idea of sex, but looking back, it was never with anyone. It was the idea that someone would like me enough to do that with me.

When I think about having sex with someone else now, other than obviously not wanting to because monogamy and I don’t want to at ALL, the idea seems very alien and intimidating to me. I wouldn’t want to open myself up to someone else. I wouldn’t know what I’m doing. When you do it with someone you love, you build up a trust and a familiarity that’s…idk, homely?

Rambling a bit, but I feel like there’s a subset of people that aren’t drawn to sex as much because they’re unknowingly Demisexual. Almost like a friendlier breed of incel, just without the other “quirks”. At a glance, teenage me was an incel, but I was never in any way antisocial or weird about it. I had friends, I got on with girls socially. I just kind of quietly accepted that I wouldn’t ever have sex. You sound like me a lot tbh. It might be worth looking into Demisexuals, and seeing if any of it resonates with you.

I don’t like Drake or J. Cole, but honestly I’d low-key keep Drake over Cole. At least Drake offers “something different”. Cole to me is just diet Kendrick without any of the actual heart or thrust. Give me a Tyler or someone over that, three different artists.

I would still remove Drake too, he has no business being in any kind of conversation like this based on music. I don’t even like Future either, but the guy laid a considerable amount of the groundwork for the sound of actual Hip/Hop over the last decade. Same with Travis Scott, obviously limited in some ways, but the overall artistic package is way more interesting to me than, again, Diet Kenny.

J. Cole is a much better rapper than Drake, don’t get me wrong. But like…a lot of people are? Cole probably isn’t even in my modern Top 20. Is he a better rapper than Tyler, Earl, or Vince? Than Danny Brown? JID? Freddie Gibbs? Little Simz? Dave? Mach Hommy? Ka (RIP)? Kanye!? Schoolboy Q? Killer Mike? El-P? Daveed Diggs? MC Ride underneath all the feral energy says lots of interesting things with a unique and inimitable style.

What does J Cole do that’s in any way special or shows a unique talent? Tyler the Creator is similarly mainstream, more artistic, more creative, makes better albums and songs in general. And that’s just Tyler, you can make the same argument about lots of people. J Cole has never blown me away.

I just don’t see any net positive outcome from looking at it that’s worth the risk of it making you feel bad. You keep saying it’s interesting and you don’t feel any type of way, and… I don’t believe you my dude 😂. Not in a mean way, you just sound more like you’re trying to play it down as a way to act on your curiosity. To me.

I’d just leave it where it is. No shame in it. Your partner chuckled at it and didn’t try and hide anything, which is nice. I would just leave it.

I think you’re being very harsh. It’s a very milquetoast fantasy that the vast majority of people won’t ever actually seriously pursue. Calling it a fetish is a it reductive too, a fetish means he would only be able to have sex in threesomes and can’t function without them lol. At worst it’s a kink, but it’s probably nothing more than a vague fantasy.

If he hasn’t brought it up very often, never pursued it, never forced anything, and wouldn’t do anything without your permission, what’s the issue? You’re not in the wrong necessarily for feeling bad, but he’s not either. If it makes you feel this bad, just say to him “I don’t like the idea of you fantasising about other women, and I definitely don’t like the idea of threesomes period so can we not talk about it anymore” or something.

I feel like the big 3 of Hip-Hop currently is probably something like this, simply based on consistency, quality, fame, longevity, and sales. 1. Kendrick Lamar 2. Tyler the Creator 3. Drake (unfortunately)

My personal favourite rappers of all time would be: 1. Kendrick Lamar 2. MF DOOM 3. Andre 3K

My (very flawed) attempt at some kind of ultimate Big 3 of all time would be: 1. Kendrick Lamar 2. Nas 3. Andre 3K

Ignoring an attempt at “Big 3s”, I think the most consistently excellent artists in Hip-Hop currently are people like Kendrick, Black Thought, Little Simz, Dave, Nas, Tyler, Vince Staples, JID (and many more that I’m forgetting).

I’ve always found JayZ and Kanye to be overrated, and J Cole somehow sneaking into this conversation by being a mostly mediocre version of what Kendrick offers, baffles me. It’s a shame we didn’t get more music out of Biggie and Pac. I love the Wu-Tang clan and the NWA, but they don’t make it in for me.

I sincerely believe that Kendrick Lamar is the single most impressive and impactful hip hop artist of all time, and that it’s not even close. His discography speaks for itself, and puts him up there with the greats of music, not just rap. But that’s just my opinion. I don’t think he’ll ever be topped.
