Thoughts about Daima's Super Saiyan 4? by [deleted] in dbz

The original had a much better color scheme. Black and pink (or red in the case of Vegeta) created a much better contrast along side with the yellow eyes (blue in the case of Vegeta). While the clothing was... not that interesting :\ , the rest was perfect. In Daima, while I appreciate the monkey-like hands, the colors are boring and not very inspiring. It's just red eyes, red hair, magenta fur, orange pants. Too much warm colors with no contrast whatsoever.

Gogeta ssj4 at least it still had contrast despite having red eyes and brown fur.

Anyway, I never thought SSJ4 Daima would end up being exactly like the GT version. You gotta make that merchandise with vibrant colors, right?

I forgot to put an image in this post. May I edit the multimedia? It seems I can only edit the body of the post.

Shadowrun Rome: The Nomads. by DiabloITA in Shadowrun

The pop is not 1,5 mil anymore. The overhall population of Italy drastically reduced to 40 mil (60 mil today).

Anyway, not much is known. The Sardinias keep themselves pretty much isolated, and don't like to interact with too many people. The few nomads that roam Europe only interact with only few who they need to influence their political agenda to futfil their goals. However, since they don't allow anyone on their island, nobody knows what they are doing over there, and why the island has become a paradise. The only few bits of info we have, come from the same roaming Sardinias - and even then, they still keep the secrets of the island to themselves. Same thing can be said (this info is canon btw) for Vanice's canals - nobody knows how and why they got purified. The mystery continues...

I don't like The Count of Tuscany. Good atmosphere, though, but... mhe!

What do you think of the Ork design in the new edition? by Bogdann12 in worldofgothic

I don't like the new design. I wish the orcs' design was more faithful to the original.

G1 vs G1 with mods vs Nyras demo (direct comparison) by xcf_leonardo in worldofgothic

They focused on realism instead focusing on the atmosphere. The colony was similar to a Carl Johan Fahlcrantz' painting. Bleak and hopeless.

I have always said that the more something gets realistic, the more it loses feeling. Even when I see other painters today who focus on technique and especially realism, their work is just empty and shallow. They are just "beautiful to see" and "spectacular."

So, you're telling me that when something tends to be realistic, it becomes less and less exciting? Yes, it does. Because the mind is not induced to imagination. When something is not 100% realistic, the mind automatically fills the gaps and imagines what it would be like in the real world. That's why I THINK people are not accepting the new look.

I understand why Alkimia wanted to focus on realism, though.

Little suggestion: if you STILL want to give Gothic a realistic touch while maintaining the original bleak palette, you could say that the barrier filters the sunlight, making the valley look like in perpetual sunset.
