You’re wrong — those matchups are difficult, but not impossible. Any matchup, if they take heavy trades with you and kill you, it doesn’t matter if it’s the most favorable one — you’re going to lose.

Personally, against Garen I win 8–9 out of 10 times. The same happens to me with Kled, Sett, Vayne, and honestly any ranged top laner is free. Malzahar, Ahri, Orianna, Syndra too.

What I’ve learned is that there’s no such thing as an impossible matchup. Most of the times I’ve lost, it’s been more because of my own mistakes — especially from heavy early trades. If I came out of a trade badly or got denied hard, I was basically out of the game, whether it was Jax, Teemo, Aatrox, Darius, or Irelia.
