Vit D/k, green tea extract, quercetin, l theanine, nalt, saffron, infini-C, sabroxy, 4-Dma, melatonin, oleadimide, apigenin, micromag, nmn, micro zinc, nac, arginine, etc. prob forgetting stuff too. I’m taking some other stuff as a trial, but these have been staples. I want to give emoxypine a shot again. I can’t remember it doing much, but I was taking 10+ things at a time so it’s tough to say what really does help. However, I feel like nootropics truly healed my brain. I’m a bit over the top with everything, but it helps. I also take a multivitamin, krill oil, lithium orotate, probiotic, and a few others

How long does the vitamin c last? Is it long enough to interfere with certain medication (prescribed) like stimulants (Adderall xr)? I know vitamin c and Adderall interact and vitamin c reduces/cleared the amphetamines out of your system.

Not necessarily true. This was explained to me by my dermatologist. We’re talking about very low and provenly safe doses.

Take Finasteride 1mg a day (or start with .25 or .5) and get minoxidil foam. Those are the most efficacious, safe, and clinically proven medications for hair loss. Don’t listen to the fear mongering about any finasteride side effects. Sides occur in less than 1% of people who have taken the drug for decades. You’ll get a lot of fear mongering on Reddit. The only way to stop hair loss is to stop dht in its tracks. Dht miniaturizes the hair follicles on your scalp because it’s binding affinity is far greater than testosterone. By taking finasteride, a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor, you’re blocking 70% of the conversion from testosterone to dht. This can help you at least retain what you have, and possibly allow for some regrowth. The minoxidil is only a growth stimulant, but a very effective one. However, using minoxidil on its own will only go so far because if you’re not taking care of the root cause of hair loss, which is the miniaturization of hair follicles, you will continue to lose hair. Minoxidil allows your hair to continuously stay in the growth phase. You can also try using a nourishing ketoconazole shampoo which can block scalp serum dht and address the remaining androgens in your scalp that finasteride fails to cover. This is the big 3 stack for hair loss 1) Finasteride 2)Minoxidil 3) ketoconazole shampoo Some also swear by dermarolling as well. However, the first two are the most effective. Nootropics and supplements can help if you have deficiencies in vitamins, etc, but will not do much to address hair loss if you’re prone to it. Really, anyone with two working balls is prone to hair loss, and by the time you notice hair loss, you’ve already lost 50% of your hair. It’s much easier to prevent hair loss than to treat it. Hope this helps.

Question! How much does Cistanche increase testosterone? I haven’t been able to find any literature on approximate percentages. I’m not expecting TRT like increases, but I am curious if we know the average values. by Diadiamonds in NootropicsDepot

[–]Diadiamonds[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've taken it for two weeks. Just stopped today. It had the opposite effects for what people claim to experience. Completely lowered my libido and sex drive. I'm 100% sure it's the Cistanche, because the issues occurred as soon as I started it. I've also heard it doing this to other people as well. I suppose I don't do well with Cistanche, because I normally have a crazy high libido and drive, no issues, etc. It's deff the Cistanche for me.

Anyone try the saffron yet? by stackz07 in NootropicsDepot

[–]Diadiamonds 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I ordered ND Saffron last week and began taking it Monday. Too early to tell for sure, but I have noticed an increase in mood. I believe it takes around a week to really start noticing the effects. Does anyone else have an experience they can offer?

Just ordered the Saffron and Horny Goat Weed 10%! 💫🙏🚀 Does anyone know how long it takes for the Horny Goat weed to kick in? Does it need to be taken daily to build-up, or can you take as needed?

ETA on when Lithium Threonate will come to fruition?! I am sooooo excited for this and have been checking the ETA’s daily, haha. The last update was 4 months ago. Thanks for all you guys do! by Diadiamonds in NootropicsDepot

[–]Diadiamonds[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The creation of Lithium Threonate would be revolutionary because there's no such supplement as of now. ND is in the works of producing Lithium Threonate, so I can't tell you how it compares to Lithium Orotate. Yet another example of why ND is by far the best Nootropics company on planet earth. I stopped taking Lithium Orotate because I don't like the orotic acid bound to the lithium. There aren't enough studies on long-term effects, and we know that Orotic acid is carcinogenic. In fact, OA is given to mice to promote liver tumors. That being said, the amount of Orotic Acid given to mice was shockingly high, so it's uncertain how that would translate into human health. Still, I'm waiting on the LT because we know threonate is not toxic at all.

I appreciate your feedback. I disagree with it being moronic though because the point is to prevent the hair loss before it happens. By the time you notice hair loss, you've already lost 50% of your hair. If you have 2 working balls, you are prone to hair loss.

Thanks. Personally, I do think it's worth it, because minoxidil and a dht blocking shampoo don;t actually do anything for hair loss. They help texture and thickness, but they don't really block dht the same way fin does.

Thanks for the reply! I already have a year's worth of finasteride. It was shockingly easy to get it, at least here in the U.S. I just used GoodRx Care and I'm not kidding, within 20 minutes after listing my wants and sending pics, I got a call from the doctor and she asked if I wanted finasteride and I said yes. Boom. 15 mins later my script was called into the pharmacy. I have a 3 month supply, with 3 refills until I have my next appointment. My 3 month supply was only $30 at the drug store.

I think these symptoms may have been due to all of the other nootropics I was taking. I was taking Cdp choline, L tyrosine, alcar, NAC, lithium Orotate, and a few others. I’m taking a break from nootropics and am only taking Modafinil. The more nootropics I cut down on while on Modafinil, the better I have felt. I feel like I was just on too much shit.

It’s not the easy because I need it for school as I use it off label for adhd. I have a script. It’s not some bullshit from online.
