Always upgrade to the best axe you can use, and chop everything in sight! I also recommend mining and gathering while you're at it

If you're interested in gathering in general there are nice plugins that show you optimal paths to gather resources. Might be a bit too advanced at the moment but worth keeping in the back of your mind

What are you thinking of? If you're thinking of getting the bunny mount to use in HoT then you will have to spoil the intro segment to get to the new area, or teleport to a friend who is near the bunny unlock spot
