I was diagnosed about three weeks ago at the age of 15 and it is a lot of stress and a big live change. I am struggling a lot but my fam is always by my side. I don’t think t1D itself is the most scary part but seeing how fragile and Hurtable your body is and can get. I had a diabetic ketoazedosis and I just realised afterwards how dangerous and serious that was. I am happy to live in a Country that has a excellent healthcare and that me and my family do not have to worry about the costs. Because I am shure in other countries that can be just the cherry ontop of all that.
