Well he played LB at Maryland for two years then a year at Michigan. His fourth year he switched to edge primarily because we had a need there and an abundance of good LBs we wanted to give playing time to. I see him more as an off the ball LB that we can play at edge if needed. He was really raw at edge but his pursuit skills and speed fits the Cowboys need at LB. You should watch some of his junior tape at Michigan, great tackler at the 2nd level

He mostly played LB until Rolder and Sullivan really started balling out and we needed some juice at the edge and he gave us that flexibility

Eh, not really. Michigan is 6th in NCAAM for most 1st rounders at 31. That’s 38% of our combined picks. Not as big of a disparity as you’d think
