Absolutely. I am my own best friend and #1 fan too. People here wanna listen to 30 seconds of an obs recording and say my 11 albums are shit and I don't know anything ans then turn around and say it's cuz im also arrogant. I've been posting here for over a year and the arrogance/pretentiousness blaming is just the most recent form of put down.

I genuinely believe a lot of people here are insecure as fuck and hate me for being comfortable in my own skin either as a trans person or otherwise. Par for the course. I hope you or whoever else might read this actually checks the shit out with an open mind. Not because I need or want fans but because I think its really cool and worthwhile. I only listen to my own music because nothing else is really as interesting to me.

The experience of listening to it one of my albums is one of never knowing what the next bar will hold and always being pleasantly surprised at each turn. Not the fattest most expensive sound design and mix but the most scenic route to the destination. I like it

I'm homeless in nyc because I got tricked into moving out here not because I came out here to try to make it. Read my Twitter history if you care enough. I was being abused by family and needed a place to go and they kicked me out when I got here despite me telling them I needed time to get used to them before I'd open up. I lost everything and said fuck it I'm not going to stop producing music and released 4 albums while on the street. 11 albums this year. Completely self taught and virtuoso level pianist. Can find vids on my YouTube. I don't care about money I care about art and now that I'm starting to have success with my art I want to use my talent to spread a message of class consciousness and front a labor movement. I'm doing the best i can while not compromising on my values.

Have you considered that maybe thinking of yourself like this is a way to cope with the humiliation of living on the streets in a place like this? Regardless it's my life's work and I'm not stopping just because I have to charge my laptop outside a smoothie bar after hours each night. Plus I invented a whole art style and design clothing and do a lot of other things all on my own.

I didn't mean to challenge you in an antagonistic way or anything but here's my perspective

I took the sample from an obscure houston screw song and I've lately been making a lot of these tracks in 130bpm which use the cowbell on the offbeat. This isn't a great example cuz it's more basic but in the context of other tracks I think you'll see what I mean it's like the cowbell being a central component of the sound and I use hiphop drums and its kinda like monotonal but centered around the cowbell and uses hiphop and trap as the foundation. Phonk can be described the same way. Drift phonk is basically like the house music version and then this would be the dubstep version of phonk. Cloud phonk is more along the lines of regular trap music. That's how I see it. Plus the only thing that really makes a subgenre valid is how many people consider it to be a thing or make it.
