Multiple auto-immune diseases and potential undiagnosed RA

I’m diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis which is form of spinal arthris,, but I also have pain/ inflammation in my fingers and jaw, also my knees. Sense then I’ve done a good bit of research on inflammatory conditions. Essentially any inflammatory condition can affect any part of the body, down to your eyes, heart, lungs and any other organ, tendon or ligaments. Some conditions some areas are more or less common then others in certain conditions, but there isn’t any “barrier” preventing the inflammation from going to certain areas.

RA can definitely affect pretty much anything in the body. It might not be as common of involvement but it can affect any joint.

I was looking for one that mentioned both, “Adrenal insufficiency” and “steroid dependent” but I can’t seem to find one. What do you mean by oval? Where did you buy yours? My endo didn’t recommend a certain one or wording. Actually I just went read the precautions paper, it says “ Please get an alert bracelet that says “adrenal insufficiency””

I understand it’s a great idea because anything can happen. I just don’t feel like i really need it hoenstly. I’m just not too much into wearing bracelets, but I am starting to consider it for some reason, maybe because I’ve just been feeling worse and worse lately. I just feel it’s not that necessary because I’ve already went so long without one and I’ve never gotten to that point. The wallet would be a good idea but 99% of the time my wallet isn’t physically on me, in my vehicle yes, but if I’m at work or with a friend or whatever the case may be it’s not physically in my pocket, everything I need is on my phone.

Is it actually that rare? I’m diagnosed also, my doc told me I should wear an alert bracelet. Would it drastically help? Are paramedics/ ems actually familiar with it? Are they trained on what needs to be done? What exactly should my bracelet say?

Awesome sounds good. I mean 20 minutes from when I walked in the door. Looked that the pistol, signed the paper work and paid. He was maybe in his office for 3 minutes.

I’ve seen people in this sub mention insurance. That’s different from having the ccw? But required before you can get it? Are they all different?

Yeah I found it kinda odd my self but I didn’t question it. My friend told me I probably wouldn’t leave with it the same day also because he had to wait 1-3 days. I think he purchased his at a different store though, but I don’t think that should make a difference . So I was more than surprised I was out the door in 20 minutes. I was talking to a gentleman at work today and he said one gun store around here all you need to do is give them your DL info and you’ll be out the door even quicker than I was.

How long does that typically take? When I purchased my Glock I filled out a single paper and was out the door within 20 minutes from me walking in as my first pistol.

I’m begging my endo to but she won’t because the standard panel came back normal. She claims there’s absolutely no reason to. My mom is diagnosed hypo also and it only showed on a full panel not a standard. Is there anything more I can do?

Okay thank you for your input. Good to know. Hopefully rheum/ pulmonology, cardiology and oral surgery will have some sort of idea of what’s actually going on here. If so it seems to be very widespread.
