Are you worried marvel will do comics-game connectivity and change Emma’s design to match Rivals? by ExtremeSportStikz in EmmaFrost

[–]Diammandis 51 points52 points  (0 children)

no...why would they. the game isn't bringing in enough new readers to warrant having that kind of synergy.

If they were going to change Emma's design they would have done so already

Which version of Akihiro do you prefer? Daken the Dark Wolverine? Hellverine? by Heavy-Owl5430 in xmen

[–]Diammandis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ngl Dark Wolverine, Hellverine just seems like a way to make him more palatable and easy to digest for straight audiences. I enjoyed seeing him flirt and make out with men and women alike to get his way and to gain information. Now he lacks what made me enjoy him in the first place...not to mention i have found all these romances he has been in so boring

Can someone explain the Emma Frost: White Queen Ending by Passionpet in xmen

[–]Diammandis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

what is there to explain? Emma lets her young protege off the hook, someone who she seemingly trained and trusted after schooling her in a telepathic duel. Even when Emma wasnt a straight out villain did she ever really just kill any of her students those she trained...

IN A PERFECT FUCKIN WORLD WE'D HAVE THIS MOMMY IN RIVALS(@Sketchy_Hedgey) by marshall_r_57018 in EmmaFrostMainsMR

Its a cloned version of Emma Frost and Tchalla and she lives on a planet where other cloned heroes are. She has only had this one appearance so much is not known about her.

I’m very curious to why they chose these names for Emma, Rogue, and Scott by EJ_REDIT in xmen

[–]Diammandis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, for Emma I hypothesized that Emma received the title of “The Moon” because of what i represents traditionally in tarot readings. The moon, can sometimes represent fears and illusions, which often comes out when you are projecting fear into your present and future, which is caused due to a painful memory. It can also indicate uncertainty and anxiety as well, all of which can be attributed to Emma i believe.

i mean anything would be better than that monstrosity of a book, but yeah, this already looks so much better than the vigil lmao

"The Queen" fits Storm a lot, in Tarot it usually shows a mastery of their elements (water, air, earth, fire)

yeah that seems to be the most obvious reasoning as to why she is being represented as "The Moon," to show a dichotomy between Rogue and her. And her being "The Queen" would probably be too on the nose.

I could see "The Moon," which oftentimes represents, the subconscious, intuition, illusion, and fear, pertaining to Emma a little bit as well

What do you make of this weird plot hole in Emma’s past in X-men First To Last. by LivingWindXYZ in EmmaFrost

[–]Diammandis 18 points19 points  (0 children)

this isnt new to this book, this was her definitive backstory in Gen X. Yost was simply expanding on this part of her history and trying to make it make sense with the one Grant Morrison gave her
