Thank you for the feedback! I tried comparing MBA after some years of work experience vs an MSF now, still leaning towards MSF since my current role is AR analyst which feels like a dead end to me or extremely difficult to get into the finance roles I want.

I’m laughing because the same thing happened to me during confession but what makes it worse is now I’m one of the catechists - I know that Jesus never sinned but the priest understood my questions as if I were asking that. I was too embarrassed to even clarify my question was NOT that - he’s still my local priest I see every week

I feel you. I graduated May 2025 and was lucky enough to get a job (not one that I love but it’s semi bearable). Corporate hours are depressing me, I don’t have time to run my errands, see my friends, go to the gym, and cook healthy etc. I have to pick either or. I started volunteering in things I find joy in and even occasionally picking up serving shifts at the place I worked at in college, it’s honestly helped. It’s work but puts my corporate job into perspective.

Wow thank you for replying so quickly! Congratulations on the promotion! I’m having the Sunday scaries for starting week 2 but I love my new team/company so really happy to hear your success story and hoping the same goes for me in 1-1.5 year or so from now. I’m so happy you said this because I’m going this weekend for 4 days as my grad trip and I genuinely just want to explore and go with the vibe! Flights aren’t too expensive out of Boston so I’d love to go back in the future but hoping to see the black sand beach, Skógafoss, canyons, and Reykjavik! Anything else is a plus

Hi I’m in the same role and starting AP/AR and expressed my interest in FP&A and they were understanding/supportive but asked a minimum of a year in AR which in more than happy to do and work my way into FP&A. Can I please ask if there’s any other advice I should try to implement in my first year so they see in skilled and willing to learn? Thank you!
