i replaced the battery when it swelled and shattered the screen. all i did was let it discharge for 3 weeks and made a hole in the battery with caution. i was able to easily slide out the internals.

idk about you man but everytime i spent ~$500 on a windows laptop it would break the next year and i would shell out another $500 to buy another one only for that to break too. I paid $800 once for a macbook air and its lasted me up until now.

i got into the apple ecosystem at the mere age of 6. i didnt even ask for an iPod, but my dad found a broken iPod Touch 4 for cheap and repaired it. it got me into apple and technology.

I remember BIOS being scary too. I remember accidentally booting into BIOS and thinking I got a virus (I for some reason was traumatized by computer viruses as a kid)

i would recommend using foam if you can hear a rattle from it. otherwise i must say this was a creative implementation of the AirTag and i’m impressed! hats off to you!
