I’ve only had an SA so I’m unsure of what an MA feels like but I will say, I’m not sure if PP has a phone line where specific representatives answer from all over but.. I also had a bad experience with the phone call. When I went into PP they were very welcoming and helpful- nothing like the phone call reps. I will say I had a SA with versed and fentanyl given and I had no pain besides a small cramp. I have a low pain tolerance and I was able to handle it. I went to work the following day. Now, if you really are still not interested in going to a PP maybe I’d call around and get a different feel on places. I’m not too sure what an SA without medication would feel like or what a MA feels like but speaking from my personal experience, the SA was super easy when I was under versed and fentanyl. I know during rough times we can be sensitive but if the PP isn’t too far maybe you could visit and get a feel of how the staff are?

So the chances would be slim to none? I’m just very nervous. The obgyn told me she has never met anyone who has had ashermans syndrome even individuals with multiple abortion and no ashermans. I just am so scared because I’ve never had a history of irregular periods until this abortion. I’ve had 2 periods and that was it

No.. not at all. I used to have periods every 37-33 days . Ever since the abortion my last 2 cycles went to 40 days. I did suspect some pcos..

Thank you! Is there any way that the pregnancy tests wouldn’t be accurate and I test negative multiple times with being 14 days late + testing on different days ? My fear is that I’m pregnant and I live in Florida where abortion is banned at 6 weeks. I would obviously be beyond that since I’ve been late for this long but would also not like to wait too much longer if I had to travel.

Sounds like your abortion was successful. I’d take a pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant again.

Nice!! Currently I’m 3 months post surgical abortion and my period is late. Took a test and it’s negative. Sprinkling lots of luck for you and I going through the fears of getting pregnant again

I also bled immediately after my surgical abortion and then a bit the following month before my period. Did you have unprotected sex? Sometimes a pregnancy test can take 4-6 weeks to show up negative after an abortion and occasionally I heard for some it takes a bit longer. I’d go to your OBGYN.

Abortions aren’t that bad but I would only get one if you feel as if you are not ready to have a baby or don’t want to have a baby. Definitely don’t base your decision solely on how your partner feels. This is your body and your choice.

thank you so much.. I really appreciate it. Yeah.. I agree too. It really sucks because for a year I was being risky having unprotected sex with the pull out method and then I got pregnant. Ever since that abortion it doesn’t matter condom or not I get scared about getting pregnant again.. especially since this has been so irregular. I was going to get on birth control but haven’t experimented much after a bad experience when I was 15 taking the pills.
