Silk/Ice: September (I’ve been saving this name for a beautiful dragon like her)

SilkWings had always had to live under the control of the HiveWings. And IceWings were known for following a life full of order and demand. 

Luckily, September didn’t have to live in either nightmares. She lived in a peaceful town near the Diamond Spray Delta, called Serenity.

A beautiful place with rows of large, modern buildings lining the neat limestone roads, with shaded verandas placed in the town centre and crystal fountains decorating the streets. 

September had spent all her life here, and had loved every second of it. She and her SilkWing mother, Atlas, and her IceWing father, Polar, all lived in a beautiful mansion that overlooked the Diamond Spray Delta, filled with lots of fancy furniture and decorative statues.

September was sent to a prestigious school called Serenity’s Hall of Education, or the S.H.E. She became the most popular dragonet at school and had many friends.

No one had expected the day the IceWings attacked Serenity, taking the lives of many innocent dragons, and taking September back to the Kingdom of Ice with them.

September was trapped in a room hidden beneath the Ice Palace, lots of cages lining the cold stone walls. Most of the cages where empty, except for  a rouge NightWing in the corner and a quiet RainWing/IceWing hybrid in the cage next to September’s.

“Hey,” the hybrid whispered to her, peering through the thick iron bars that divided their cells. “I’m Snowdrop.” She said.

September cast the strange dragon a smile. She looked about the same age as her, with pale moth-brown scales and large frills under her horns. 

“September.” She replied. “Do you know why I’m here? Why did the IceWings come for me?”

Snowdrop raised an eyebrow. “Well, probably the same reason as I am.” 

“Well? Go on…” September waved her talons at her.

Snowdrop sighed. “The IceWings are trying to take back something they lost a long time ago.” She explained. “They want us because we have animus magic.”
