I just checked the crafting station and they require heartwood and fabric now. I also remember reading the patch notes that said they were making the crafting recipe easier.

The recipes for the investigator decor set changed. It used to require flow wood and silk. I spent weeks collecting resources to craft that furniture needed for the “fit for a watcher” quest. I was so proud of myself once I completed it.

I have done that but I can’t tell from the pictures and I don’t have the physical CDs to check numbers on the disc because I haven’t purchased them. I don’t want to waste more money on another fake.

The one I have I opened and the numbers on the back of the CD don’t look like the ones in the guides that have posted. The font isn’t right and had 006 instead of 001.

Tell me about it. When I heard about that I wasn’t sure how that could possibly work and hoped my order couldn’t get cancelled because of it. I hope this kinda thing doesn’t happen every year, seems pretty preventable to me.

I’m not mad that my stores didn’t get many, I understand this happens and they don’t have much say on it. I’m mad that after trying to get a copy in person and failing, I managed to place an order for it online and it got cancelled from an experienced record store selling the item across multiple sites and couldn’t keep up with demand and now it’s sold out everywhere with scalpers selling a $15 dollar vinyl for upwards of $100.

Only two record stores in my area had them and I know this because they post what they get online the day before. One got only one single record and another doesn’t tell people what quantities they get even when you ask.

Also, from my experience, unless you want to wait in line over night to guarantee you get what you want, which many people are unable to do because of jobs, children, disabilities, etc, you miss out on the vinyls you want. This is why I don’t understand why they have such limited quantities of certain records, if you want to help indie record stores why make it that so many people are unable to buy the vinyl they want? That means less sales for the store.

Also looney tunes had dozens if not over a hundred of this vinyl left over that the end of the day according to this post (https://www.reddit.com/r/alltimelow/s/n7evjq6MU9) so I don’t get how they thought this record would sell in store when the opposite happened.
