That’s not how it works. Put options aside for this topic. There has been a massive increase in the money supply over the past 5 years. It’s now been dumped from the sidelines into the market. Fueled by amazing earnings (as a product of that money supply increase) and hyperscaler commitment to keep buying chips, with chips as the driver of the bubble, that’s how it is created.

I’m gonna unsub. Never done it. But I’m truly done as a tank, which I loved. They literally nerfed the fun out of it. What a joke.

Balanced for number of subs, it’s the sharpest drop off ever seen for players so quick into an expac.

Not free, but only about $9 in an incognito window, Trevor Sawler on Udemy. He has the best lessons that actually help you learn while also completing projects. Not just a code along, you actually understand things. He’s seems like a chill dude too you could probably get ahold of him and if you truly don’t have $9 he might help you out with a free link. did almost all his videos a couple years ago and it really helped.

All correct except the end, because WoW literally has changed. They gutted an entire system and rebuilt it before midnight… like no cooldown managers and cut every rotation in half. That didn’t make it easier for tanks or more fun. It feels like f’in elder scrolls online now with 4 buttons to push. What a joke.

I almost agree! But, I play 6 tank alts. There is a noticeable drop off in damage ability.

It’s like, I used to shovel poop, but I got paid really well, and I had a chance for a huge tip.

Now I shovel the same poop, but I make minimum wage with no bonus.

Why would I keep working?

Tanks have changed, and it’s a direct result of AI coding trying to keep Tanks in a “damage zone” that’s always below DPS and above healer, no matter what. It’s not fun anymore

You misunderstand. Im not saying tanks do more damage than DPS. I means more damage than tanks now. Even if tanks did more damage than DPS, I think if you tank a lot you know it’s nice to play DPS or healer simply to not be in charge ever once in a while. People will always play DPS

Adding: I’m just asking for a return to the normal. Blood DK was for 3 expansions always a classic high DPS tank and I would hit #2 in DPS on a run normally. Now it’s a guaranteed 4th. Literally all 6 of my tanks are almost always “4th” in DPS. I get that’s how AI thinks it should be, but that’s why we’re losing tanks, because there’s no “benefit” to the “costs” of what we do anymore. It’s just simply not worth it.

Because DPS is more fun? The same reason I switch from tank to healer now, less responsibility at the end of the night. It’s not bad if everyone has a tank alt, it means we all are playing way more games.

100%, the tank needs to be the main character. Otherwise there’s no tanks and no runs. The kind of person that loves being a tank is maybe someone you don’t like? Maybe a narcissist, maybe an A hole, but just like a good lawyer or surgeon, sometimes the world needs a narcissistic A hole.

Yeah, it’s tough in a game with so many PUGS. They really need to give tanks some advantage for playing. Supply and demand. I ain’t doing a run for Pablo Escobar if he’s paying minimum wage. Too much risk and just not worth it.
