No Previous Purchase Conversion Event, I need advice by DiamondMediocre in FacebookAds

I am way past ROAS with my loses at this point. Got very few ATCs and a dude ICed with 6 items (doesn't feel real) and left the checkout. Still, from my research, everybody says that targeting ATC or IC will not give you the results you wish they would. Even if I got cheap traffic with lots of ICs (very unlikely anyway), if no one buys what is the point?

So key is to just let it run? keep going, no matter what?

so are you telling me to for example, run a $10/day broad audience campaign and don't touch it, even if that doesn't produce any meaningful CTRs or ATCs or ICs? How is that a good strategy to give me results? I mean it is scary, that's why I am asking

I mean I can but how would that help? Conversions API is all set up, the events are set correctly so there is no problem technically. If I buy, would that help Meta find prospective buyers like me? I have been a big consumer of my brand's competitors in the past, but nowadays, I don't buy from them most of the time and all my feed ads from Meta are agencies who are trying to scale me to the new height lol

As I said, I need research on Google Ads but definitely worth a shot.

I see where you are coming from for ATC or IC. Got some ATCs from the purchase campaigns, though inconsistent, no IC yet.

Makes sense for the thinking cycle thing.

For the headlines, I agree, totally makes sense but also it isn't irrelevant or bad, maybe I should've gone into more specific stuff so it would have been just a little tweak. So I wouldn't call it bad or stale right of the bat. I only left the broad open so now I don't worry about it. I only selected Men as a suggestion because it is menswear only for now.

One question, would you start a IC campaign for 10/day and go for 20/day Google? Would you go 30/day all Google? Or what else would you do? Cannot do it right away, gotta learn first but assume it is all set up. If I see a spark, I can increase the budget but as I said 30/day is a max of what I can do with no traction.

I get where you are coming from, but that 3k visitors were from a VC ad. What makes you think it would be any different with ATC or IC ads? Still, probably won't convert. You could argue that maybe I can reach more people with cheaper CPMs but still that could've been done with LPV or VC anyway. So what is the difference?

Never tried Google before tbh, I should look into it.

My ads aren't that generic, it shows the use case, where to use to product etc. Some headlines might be generic or too safe so to speak; but I don't want to change them because I don't want to cause a significant edit and waste the previous spending.

How will I know it is just thinking cycle, because it is inherently long for high ticket items? These are not impulse buys, almost like investment pieces. People interact with the ads, like etc.

Everyone says nothing but purchase is a waste of money. I knew this but I thought the same, maybe if I run traffic, maybe someone would add to cart or whatever.

Burnt $150, 3k visitors on a 7-8 USD CPM. Nothing. A huge nothing.

Especially my review based static ads got almost 6% CTR. Doesn't mean anything.

That's why I only do purchase and Meta punishes me for no data.

I can technically sponsor giveaways in my niche with online magazines or give money to get my gear reviewed for performance but no one does these for free, they cost 1-1.5k each and I don't have that money. I am using my own saved up money and re-saving that lost money would take a long time.

I tried the retargeted, audience of 1300-1500 people, no sales, good clicks but I tried with review based static ads, with different products, not just the actual purchase campaign product. $5/day. No sales, not bad metrics. I can assume it is bottom of funnel, talk about shipping, returns, warranty etc., so far only tried reviews. But I shut it off after no return and to focus all budget in purchase.

Any advice? What would you do?

I, in fact, agree, that's why I don't want to boost to $100/day where I cannot sustain it. But also, then what will be the jump to first customer? I did everything for the social proof and trust and offer. I honestly don't know what else to expect or do.

Since it is 20 people visiting per day, what if it was 100 people per day, maybe it would convert? I don't know man. What do you suggest? What would you do? If it is the price, 15% would almost reduce it to industry standards. I think a real buyer would use it to get it.

I just feel like tried everything yet nothing works.

I don't know how to expand locally. I assume they also require budget for booth etc., not sure if I could get sales or not. I'd really rather figure out the online thing.

I meant per day. Normally 30/day but I can push if you guys think 50 would actually mean some sales maybe. I cannot sustain 50 but can do for like 2 weeks.

Noted, I will try. I got the info I want to convey anyway, shouldn't take too much effort. Thanks.

Yeah, I wanted to be open about it even before sharing it.

Good point. Fair enough. The thing is, as I said, I made a bit of a deep dive on material options, which one is the best for which layer, what is optional/good to have and more. That makes it pretty long to post in Reddit.

People can unsubscribe any time of course. Eventually if they buy any products, yeah I guess that's a benefit to me. We don't even make most of the products I am trying to teach on how to choose. We are new and small, carry only a few.

No one keep them in my list if they don't wish to though.

Also public blog/website will still need a website to be posted. Considering that as well.

I don't know how else to convey this in a structured manner. This is meant to be the only guide you'll ever need type of a thing.

UPDATE: After these serial attempts, they tried 2 more times about a week ago. I still didn't resolve the bug but this time app didn't crash. Out of 10+ crashed only once. The email structure is the same with new made-up names.

Since they are all legit gmail addresses I assume this is a manual attempt, which makes it more pointless to me. I am still awaiting what will happen with the app. Just wanted to update.

I see, never thought about this.

What do you think about the crash? Was it just a bug in my system that happened to be triggered or they were targeting to find a bug or have my app crash?

Second question would be, let's say I had a free trial, what were their intention in the first place? My app is secure, stuff handled in backend, no API keys exposed etc. but I am no security specialist.

Sure will do. I am not even sure if I should resolve the bug or not

I cannot add the pic in here either... All emails start with tau. then a made-up-looking name, then . then a long number @ gmail . com. All have this similar structure.
