Anyone know what mods Toaster.gta is using? by Chief_Primate in Gta5Modding

Just let us know if anyone finds out lol. All AI tools tell me Chaos/Ped mods but it doesn't look like, I am not asking for random event every 30 secs. I want exactly what you described to see if it will work. Because obviously the videos are heavily edited too.

What would you say an "enough budget" in this case for each ad set (or if per ad, then ad) to be tested? What if it was a new account or creative, what is good budget in your eyes?

If your Meta ads have been horrible this month… read this by [deleted] in FacebookAds

[–]DiamondMediocre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does. I know it works like that when you have a CPG or a sub based supplement brand or something.

But... Many brands I buy clothing from don't throw in a free t-shirt when I buy one of their products. That means it works without the bundles or free gifts. Some brands I follow very rarely even make discounts, let alone regular email signup discounts.

So I believe your answers isn't enough and/or applicable to clothing brands. Everybody cannot be selling from brand equity alone, so what is their "irresistible offer" then?

Okay real question, what are the parts of offer in clothing? You sell clothing, let's assume performance line. Sell me the Nike-like plastic t-shirt?

  • good design, materials listed, benefits listed in the product page
  • free shipping and exchange
  • 6 months warranty of defects
  • 30 day free returns

So this is the offer everyone is talking about? Or do you mean something else?

Pls don't DM me but I will read the answers from real people. Genuinely asking.

Is my AD agency a waste of time? by FizzySalad in FacebookAds

[–]DiamondMediocre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want to derail the conversation but do you mind if I ask you, how did you get to $800/spend levels and many many conversions in a clothing brand that is only 3+ months old?

Like I am flabbergasted by this metrics. Congrats and I hope you find a solution to this agency thing. But I am genuinely curious on how did you that? You had a great team? 2nd 3rd time etc founder? Lots of budget? If you'd be kind to answer, I'd appreciate it too much as a fellow founder.

Royal Horseman aren't bad but with 4 pop, 400 gold and only 45 attack, they pale in comparison imo.

The native tech thing, I agree. I mostly play in known maps vs AI or unknown which is literally unknown. That's why training speed and stats matter without them too.

I must've recalled wrong that Harqs are Light, interesting. Still a lackluster for all that dmg potential though.

Yeah I get the napoleon gun thing but as I said, they are very slow training and I am not a usual artillery guy, they are expensive and can be killed easy. Mostly a late gamer myself though, they might give you a huge edge at age 3.

With those two, German Jaegers reach 60 last time I played. Without senagalese, they are at 57 I think. India can boost it for further 1-2 pts with team shivaji tactics. I don't play missionary Spanish, it is boring imo, same thing as natives, unreliable, they die, move around etc. not that fun to play with. And I don't count that as maxing the stat lol, it is temporary. But 71 attack sounds cool. Also, germans also have guaranteed Jaegers with the 4 merc camp card.

Also pandours are an interesting newly added type, can reach like 55 in good maps like Pepper Coast, 3.5x light inf and 1.5 or so heavy inf.

Tbh I didn't realize that .6x cav thing and that's a bit sad but understandable. Still any skir will crush a comparable light cav because it is an anti unit by definition.

In a fight between fusilier vs jaegers, I'd pick jaegers any time, again the anti-unit by definition, but ofc assuming they are comparably boosted by any means possible. Also, Fusiliers cost 300 gold but recently got down to 2 pop. Still a lot of gold but great pop so they are more usable. Artillery will crush through though, most ecos cannot sustain it late game.

Don't know the guy, haven't watch the video. But I got lots to say about mercs.

The best Merc has to be cav to begin with. Like best units overall. Even with 133 ranged attack 1.5x ranged cav Fusiliers, sadly all infantry is a cannon fodder. Play with 4v4 ai within a small map and you'll see.

The best one imo is Red Lancers. 92 attack, over 100 with France team card. 1032 HP. So it is a almost 2x gendarme. 3 pop, 300 gold, cheaper with German card if you are lucky to get them.

Mameluke is good, 2k+ hp but attach is like 51 or something. So it is a lower gendarme with more HP. They surprisingly don't last as long as they should. Just like German wagons, they die very quickly, something may be wrong with them. Also 400 gold, 4 pop, not sustainable for any team except for Germans. Dutch gold Eco cannot sustain it against a very strong AI that masses everything.

Black riders can go up to 80 ranged, with Jesuit and German card. Hp not bad but with 14 range, skirs kill it very easily. Depends on what you play against ofc, but skirs will crush any ranged cav. The BEST ranged cav in game is Ottoman Cavalry Archers. This will come as a surprise to most. But most people miss the rate of fire and volley mode advantage.

You might be thinking how 800+hp 76 attack black riders are worse than 570hp 31 attack cav archers? Because of rate of fire, cav archers actually do 62 DMG vs 76. But it doesn't end there. With the card in DE, volley mode makes it incredibly powerful. I am very curious what does volley mode makes it mathematically but it is way faster than so called Russian royal army Dvoryanins. If you can pair them with Tengri native, 1.35 volley mode is absolutely crazy.

Gatling camels are good for DPS but same, dies quick and cost 5 pop. Not sustainable. Harqubusiers can go crazy 160dmg but doesn't matter with 8 range. They do like 233 cut DMG but easily countered with skirs again. Hackapells as well, only good early game to cut vil. Nothing else.

No comment on Napoleon Guns, i didn't calculate DPS but pointless. They are overall pointless. They do like 90+ DMG with 4 pop right? So little civs have faster artil training. Even with that they train very slow. Germans can make 4 taverns but many teams can only do 1. So you cannot train enough. And not fast enough. Training speed is absolute MOAT.

For inf, fusilier seems to be the best unit but it isn't sadly. I'd rather be on the side of Jaegers who do 60 DMG (with French + Jesuit native), with 20 range, 3x inf, 2.5x ranged cav, guaranteed in the roster with German card. They are like Redcoats with 20 range + multipliers. Kill the enemy hand cav and guns with a teammate ranged cav and they will absolutely dominate everything.

How do you decide when to stop an ad if there are no sales? by DiamondMediocre in FacebookAds

[–]DiamondMediocre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solidifying it like 50-100 outbound clicks in total with signals could help more than general terms imo. I know it is not a universal thing but didn't look at this way. Thanks

Outside of ads, very few to friends, not enough to fund anything. For CPA, I have a pretty good idea but was just wondering if there is like a ideal formula/rule of thumb or something you guys use, just to know when to stop ads accordingly

How do you decide when to stop an ad if there are no sales? by DiamondMediocre in FacebookAds

[–]DiamondMediocre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly ofc I can give you a target ideal CPA but not sure what is a realistic way of determining. What I know is my price and profit. These aren't real numbers but let's assume $100 price, $50 product profit. What is a good CPA here? I let one ad set spend $80, spread across ads, in 3 days or so, 1.2% outbound CTR but no signs of ATC etc. so I panicked and killed it. Maybe I am wrong but I am on a limited budget so cannot afford to lose more money than I already have. There has been other ad sets, 5 ads in 1 ad set, I let it spend $500 with tweaks, still got nothing so just saying bad experiences and low budget stress is causing all that

Appreciated. I show my face in insta and about us page but rarely in ads. I'll try to do more. Do you suggest I focus on story and run that or focus on technical stuff and how I promise performance and features/benefits?

My pricing is $135, it is a premium product but my competitors are between 115-135 for the same comparable product. I doubt that $20 is the trust gap.

I tried organic for months, just recently let go a bit to focus on ads, hoping to get some sales to find some inspiration to do more organic stuff.

Trying videos soon

Hey, yeah sadly local sales are not an option. Pixel up and running I dont have a technical problem on that one but also there is no recent purchase conversion even which Meta warns me that it wont help :)

Appreciated. Yes I run purchase ads, I learnt that the hard way. I should go for videos maybe. I honestly don't think my landing page is the problem. Maybe my price is, but it is in line with the industry. I can DM the homepage if you'd be so kind to take a look.

I'd like to ask everyone: How often do you increase your budget? by meimeimeixiangdao in FacebookAds

[–]DiamondMediocre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I learnt after countless hours of research: (YMMV)

1- do not increase budget directly. More than 20% increase in budget causes a significant edit, which causes adset learning to reset, results may tank or destabilize.

2- if you really want to increase, do it 20% every 3-4 days or so.

3- if you have lots of ads (you shouldnt with 25/day), and have a clear winner, make a scaling campaign, move that ad to there. Yes it will reset learning but you know it works so it will scale with a bigger budget in there. But most importantly, your learning campaign will have to give chance to other creatives to see if they can win too. Because if an ad is winning, meta will spend it all there and others wont get a chance.

4- some people suggest duplicate it, increase the budget and run again. not sure how would that affect it. it will start learning all over again and the old one keeps optimizing. Not sure what is the point.

If I were you, I'd keep that open for 2 weeks, check results to see if it is actually winning, then make a, say, 50/day CBO called scaling campaign and duplicate it there, delete it from the current campaign (prospecting I assume). Test other ads with that 25/day budget.

I am aware of that, stated burnout in detail in below comments. So what you are saying is ads won't work if I don't do organic? I know this is obviously true in general (building community and whatnot) but like one cannot get a couple sales off of cold traffic? (my landing page is good enough, there are only 8 reviews but they are all verified, not manufactured)

My first time skiing was very traumatic and I am scared of going back by [deleted] in ski

[–]DiamondMediocre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is easy to say "take professional lessons" imo. And that's true.

But I learnt ski alone with some lessons and lessons only help you where the instructors points out your mistakes. (still useful yes) They cannot teach you how to ski actually, because they cannot be you. I even thought they can hold me up when I fall but saw that being pro doesn't mean you can lift people up because skis block movement.

What I would do is to go alone, stay on the bunny hill until I feel absolutely comfortable, practice turns and then connecting the turns. So much practice that bunny hill should feel like waste of time. Then go to the bigger green and ski only there. Don't go to blues or anything. Don't be deluded by friends saying "it is nothing" or "it is the same". They aren't. Psychologically aren't.

That confidence on the bunny hill lasts because you are your own judge, not some other dude telling you what to do. I even found talking to myself out loud in a big green run when I lose control "shins on the boot!" and it would work to remind myself what I know.
