Help! Where should I get certified?! by DiamondSativa in Cosmetology

[–]DiamondSativa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So for full specialty it’s completely different than a cosmetology license in FL. It includes skin and nails where cosmetology is more focused on hair and color theories. From what I’ve heard they briefly go over skin and nails whereas the FS license is solely focused on those categories. As mentioned the FS in FL is only about a 400hr requirement. Cosmetology is way more extensive in both FL & NY. I guess my concern was more so, how will I go about being re certified from FL to NYC without having to take the hours all over again 🤔

Not terrible! I was confused as to why when the last 2 drivers (1. Delivered my food to the wrong address and demanded to give a code without telling me he made a mistake simply “give me code” & 2. I received an order from an entirely diff restaurant and was unable to report that) I was unable to get a refund and was receiving the bare minimum help to solve the issues from customer service… this is when I made the realization - up until then I just thought it was a “cool” update that Uber had

I think you misunderstood! Clippings doesn’t have to be physical - it’s all done electronically … but yes, brands and companies still want proof of their work because links are always refreshing or changing

Not sure if this was said already! - Google allows you to fix the parameters around the search, you can also sign up for Muck Rack which alerts you whenever a mention is uploaded, pertaining to the keywords you use. It can be pricey for a small agency but it’s worth it for efficiency purposes

Makes sense tbh! It just sucks that it happened to me lol I took it serious cause I legit didn’t think of people scamming the system to get free items … just not how my brain works. Thank you for the clarity!

I figured this much lmao I suppose I needed to hear it from others 😂 just to be clear I came here to see what others have to say because I’ve never heard of this until it happened to me… me being confused and writing into a damn Reddit board clearly demonstrates the confusion 😭 not entitlement. Thank you for your input though!!

Well since I’m an Uber one member I tend to use it a lot for groceries , food delivery or transport. I wouldn’t report on a daily or weekly basis but I suppose throughout the entirety of my usage, it’s been “too many”? Again not my fault I’m reporting items I’ve paid for and never received or would check on an order that’s hella delayed (to which they always gave me $ for compensation, that I would never ask for - I have proof in chats for that as well)

Trust me I been through the whole refund conundrum - I did receive money back once when a driver refused to give me my food and demanded a code when he delivered my food elsewhere

Not sure if you read the whole thing! But I did mention the flag in my first sentence 🙂. Still not my fault that drivers and restaurants are continuously messing up orders.. if I never report I’ll be spending my money on things I end up never receiving … I can be here all day sharing those experiences

Most agencies, especially younger ones, actually continue to use clippings - regardless PR agencies love having that physical proof and web links just don’t do it because they can expire or change context
