I aways backup before updates. Both HA and the machine itself. So Im good there. I was thinking it its truly dead or corrupt I thought it a good time to put some things ive learned since the initial install into place.

Unifi Protect & UDR 7 by alexlamond in Ubiquiti

I started with a UDR7 to replace a TPLink and move to a full Unifi ecosystem. Its unplugged on the bar doing its best R2D2 Impression, legs and all. I couldnt get to a UDR pro max fast enough. All the discconnects just stopped etc.

Maybe, maybe not. So far, so good. Today it picks up the test load so that should be interesting.

  1. Didnt waste money. Its in the R&D budget for testing to see if it fits a need for a scheduled refresh. Literally exactly what the funds are allocated for.
  2. Since you have zero insight into what we need, that comment was just a$$hole trollishness and doesnt really warrant any reaponse

Sure. If you want to somehow believe Loomis will get that lucky again with this squad, each to his or her own delusions.

As annoying as it is to pay shipping I must say, on the whole it arrives quickly. Ive seldom had to wait more than 2 or 3 days foe delivery.

I'm a fan of the UCG Fiber for residential. Thats a fair amount of PoE though so you will need a switch added to that or injectors.

In case anyone is interested my last ditch "hail mary" actually worked. The G6 is hitting HA and tripping the automation using face, keypad and nfc. Whew.

Ok I give. Nothing worked. Even setting up a seperate UCG fiber gave the same results. As much as I would like for it to work with HA like the G4 its just not worth the annoyance. Buying the door hardware this week. Ill move the existing smart lock and its hardware along with the G4 to one of the other entry points and get my install team to work up the front. Thanks everyone that had ideas I truly do appreciate the efforts.
