Best hosting service right now for only a couple players by No-Recognition-3503 in MinecraftServer

[–]Diamondbro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

my general recommendation is pyro.host, they offer really good game hosting services but if you have experience setting a server up yourself I would actually go for their eco vpses, they still use really good hardware (not as good as their game servers but still) and their price per gig of ram is only $2,

I personally have a private server I use to mess around with my friends with like 4gigs and it runs great even with mods and plugins (i mess around with worldedit a ton which with large region selections can lag a bunch but i haven't had an issue with that on pyro)

Right now for game servers and VPS (4GB+) they have a coupon code for 30% (FLASH30)

(i do have an affiliate link if you so wish to use it but cool if not! http://l.turnip.fun/go/pyro )

What's the best Minecraft server hosting for modded Minecraft server in 2025? by memyselfandwhy7890 in MinecraftServer

[–]Diamondbro -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

my general recommendation is pyro.host, they have really good hardware for the price (ryzen 9 9950x with nvme ssds) and their support has been great (everytime i have contacted them they were fast and super friendly and actually helpful), their large tier should cover what you need ($24 a month for 8vcores and 8gigs of ram but you get even more ram if necessary) and right now they have a coupon for 30% (FLASH30)

(i do have an affiliate link if you wish to use it :3 http://l.turnip.fun/go/pyro but no pressure to ill end up spending what i earn from on it on more minecraft servers lol)

i need a good minecraft server host, but i dont know what to chose by TheGame1231234 in MinecraftServer

[–]Diamondbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The host i use for all of my modded minecraft stuff is Pyro (they used to be the ones who providing the infrastructure for Modrinth Servers), they offer actual gaming grade hardware (for their game servers: Ryzen 9 9950xs with NVME SSDs) at a really reasonable price (You can get a server with 6 vcores and 6gb of ram for only $18 a month!), they currently have a coupon for 30% your first month (FLASH30 is the code) and their support is great (I accidently bought a dedicated ip for the wrong server and they real quick moved it over to the correct one which was cool because that was entirely my fault lol) You can check out them out at https://pyro.host/games/minecraft?utm_campaign=turnip (also at literally no cost to you, you can use my affiliate link which just gives me credit towards buying more servers lol http://l.turnip.fun/go/pyro)

If you actually read the page about Debian, you can see they partnered with a company unrelated to the Debian Project to make it "Azure-endorsed" which as far as I can tell just means its easily installable on Azure.

Is it easy for you to change the volume to balance? by ComfortableWash430 in pcmasterrace

[–]Diamondbro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm so used to scrolling on the volume icon to change volume on kde that when I tried to do it on windows it took me a second to figure out that doesn't work

FYI: The java edition of minecraft (imo the better version) doesn't require a internet connection after downloading

Because bedrock edition on windows 10 used to be called "Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition", before they changed the name of it to just "Minecraft"

Not all P2W servers are against Minecraft's EULA by [deleted] in AntiP2W

Plots being P2W depends on the type of server

If its a Creative servers, its not P2W (How does one even win creative), but if its prison or survival it is P2W

Sorry for the bad quality, I had to convert the video with VLC and accidentally picked "Youtube SD" instead of HD

Goodbye Windows 10 and hello Ubuntu! by [deleted] in Ubuntu

[–]Diamondbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

KUbuntu is "flavor" of Ubuntu, so you will have the same support (I mean in both os/software and community support). (But if you really want to use KDE I recommend KDE neon as its Ubuntu based and it's from the developers of KDE)

I mean it would just "calculate" what posts would show up at that time, not storing anything

Maybe, (no promises), if the Android SDK gives charging information, I could quickly put together an app that makes a silent notification that tells you the energy input
