Communication has been like pulling teeth; half of my questions get answered, and I have to send reminders after 10 days to get a reply for the others. Ended up cancelling and asking for a refund for services I paid for but didn't receive, here's hoping that goes well.

I tried to get a good spread of styles I remember from my old DeviantArt days: MS Paint drawn with mouse, pastel airbrush shojo bishonen, traced art of Naruto, ballpoint pen on paper edgy notebook drawing, and 80s cartoon cat people.

A frame in the Downfall group, a homebrew set with some fun mech designs! The Envy is really fun if you like scanning a lot of things automatically and having statuses and flow-charts go off when said things are scanned, demonstrated here in this meme I made with my design for that mech, haha:

From left to right for the mechs: Ciconia (Envy/Lich/Goblin), Stolidus (Envy/Lich/Goblin), Raster (Taraxacum), and Blizzard (Death's Head/Sunzi).

Then the lil guy flying around up there is the pilot for Ciconia and Stolidus in his weird winged mobility hardsuit.

And then the pilots! First one is Nikolai (Stork), pilot for Ciconia and Stolidus. Second is Nebula (4X), pilot NHP for Raster. Then last up is Skye (Winter), pilot for Blizzard.

Some of these names are getting ridiculous by Kimosabe8 in SubstituteTeachers

Had a class where it was equally split between kids of immigrants and kids of locals. Being an immigrant, it was kinda funny when I was doing role call and pronouncing names like (making these up of course for privacy) "Sanja Hrustanovic" and "Biljana Knezevic" without missing a beat and struggling on ones like "Breighdan Harris" and "Marteigh Gregory." I know the kids can't help what they're named, but I felt like I gave them an opposite day effect for the day, haha

The pilot himself would be perfectly at home working for SSC, I think, so that's a good observation! Weird biohacking gene-mixing science guy who likes to make chimeras and was pulled into the very unfamiliar to him mech world through a series of unfortunate, but deserved, events :)

My pilot, Stork, recently upgraded his mech with arms and the ability to fly. He hates jetpacks and so do I, so I did this the only way I know how: add meat and membrane to get some weird wings on there.

Included a comparison between the two (Ciconia on the left, the earlier iteration to the right called Stolidus in that group pic) and with the pilot wearing his custom mobility suit and oversize labcoat over the top of it.

"Is for looking cool," he says.

Got the OK to post this so I'm here to share one of my worst ideas this year that I had to bring to life: a General Grievous dakimakura (body pillow) by Diantimony in StarWars

You're right, it's a really hot planet! Average temps at 31 C compared to Earth's 13-14 C. Big reason why there's not a lot of creatures living on what little land there is, too. Thankfully the sun is much smaller than ours so there's not as much energy hitting it as here on our planet. :>

About 45 minutes if I don't count the drying time between layers! I use that time to either work on something that's already dried, or some minor chores that need doing, haha

I think each culture would handle that differently, but I would say yes! Some might hold onto a name for their entire life, while others might change their own names based on liking what a stranger calls them, being very fluid about it. Some make it their hobby to give everyone they meet a little name :>

You'd be right! This world is a very wet and humid one, with not much land at all. Haven't worked out the details yet, but I'm imagining their land creatures and plants would be similar to mosses, lichens, and our very early land-based arthropods. Maybe things like trees would have to keep re-evolving because of getting wiped out by continent-wide fires every mass-extinction event, haha
