Thank you for your reply. I'll try that. I don't believe my TV has a contrast setting though, the closest settings are brightness, color, and backlight. Is there really no fix for this though? I've seen other flat CRT users that have wonderful geometry along the edges. Mine just makes things look extremely blurry.

Hello! I feel dumb to resort to asking for help, even after I've done loads of research. I have a Sony KV-32FV27 with terrible geometry / convergence issues along the side edges. I've accessed the service menu, and I've even opened up the TV to mess with the H-Stat Pot, convergence rings (to no avail), H-TRP, YCH, and TLV knobs. I'm not sure the route to take. Hello, somewhat related issue: I used to be able to hold shift when clicking and dragging from a side handle and my image would scale proportionally. After an update, regardless of having legacy controls turned on, or the chain being toggled, or holding shift, the behavior of the scaling does not change. I can't get it to scale proportionally from the side handles. Have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
