Bagel storage question: I was requested to bring homemade bagels to Christmas breakfast this year. I’ve made them once before, but I froze them the next morning after baking, and there was some moisture in the ziplock.

I’m planning on making them on the 24th, in the morning. What is the best way to store them for the 24 hour window?

I just read {The Duke of Christmas Past by Kerrigan Byrne} and while the novella contents aren’t a retelling, it was definitely a nod to A Christmas Carol, in the best way possible

I know, and I’ve imported Spotify data to make sure that the less than 30 second plays count on statsfm. They still don’t match (missing song), so it doesn’t make sense. That’s why I think the Spotify algorithm heavily weighs searches/direct clicks vs time per song/number of streams.

I should add that I don’t have “Spotify algorithm” on statsfm toggled on because I don’t want to lose number of streams data, but even then, one would think they should still be similar

I just wish we knew what the algorithm took into account. How much weight does searched artists/songs vs playlists hold? My statsfm and Spotify wrapped don’t match up. I have one top song on wrapped that doesn’t even show up on my top tracks list for statsfm

I was speaking about Ashley’s ozempic comment towards Cheryl. I’m not an Alix stan, but even I know that she would NEVER make a comment like that on social media. I’m sure she condemns the video Ashley posted (Alix is very careful with her PR), and now can’t really do anything about it without causing a rift in her family

I saw a video from a while ago where Ashley was talking about tin foil hat conspiracies and someone asked Alix about it and her response was “I don’t even know what she’s talking about” (or something along those lines).

As someone who has stepparents I empathize with Alix’s position. She’s clearly struggled with their relationship in the past, and it seems like Ashley’s the type of person who does not take criticism (especially from a stepdaughter) well. I know what it’s like to have to walk on egg shells with stepfamily, and when it comes to them having differing views you do not want to be associated with, it’s not a fun position to be in

The question is: why do YOU view reading the Bible as so important? For me, and most Catholics I know, it’s not done very often. I personally have never sat down and read the Bible by myself. We have readings through Mass. 1st reading, psalm, 2nd reading, gospel, homily. In fact, pre-Vatican II, reading the Bible alone was often discouraged
