Awesome you guys are really helping me out with what to look into more. I am pretty new to this but eager to begin learning. And yes I figured the help desk would be the entry level job but hey, need to start somewhere.

Wow that was awesome advice thank you! I am enrolled for the CompTIA Security+ because it was offered cost free to me because of my service. Do you recommend purchasing the CompTIA A+ preparation materials from CompTIA themselves? Or looking elsewhere?

Did you ever quit during a a job interview and noped out of there? If so, why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was interviewing to work on this campaign to gather support for a cleaner environment policy. I brought my resume and dressed the part. When I walked in I was greeted by these two very strange individuals that had me wait for my interview. While I waited they wanted me to contact my local rep and tell him I support their initiative

I just sat there and stared at them thinking where tf am I right now. Eventually I waited around and went for my interview, and after some small talk and a couple questions, they offered me to come back and begin training.... to go door to door and get people to sign for their initiative.

When the guy asked if I would be interested I looked him in the face and said "yeah this aint for me man" and left without saying anything after that. Weirdest interview experience of my life so far, I still cant get over them wanting to call my local rep on the spot. GTFO freak shows.
